The last episode is clearer: I’m in the apartment of my childhood in the kitchen with my grandfather, grandmother, and mother (all already deceased), getting ready for guests to arrive (it seems like New Year’s, there’s a decorated Christmas tree in the corner of the kitchen), we’re cooking food and discussing how best to marinate the goose before putting it in the oven, the goose is lying on the table, just huge (already plucked and butchered), and grandfather says he’ll handle the geese himself, as usual, without our advice.
