What is Diatomite, Mountain Flour or Kieselguhr. Its unusual beneficial properties not only for our body, pets, but also for the home, garden and vegetable plot.

Then there were special natural complexes for hair and nail growth and if they still somehow affected hair growth — it seemed that they had no effect at all on my nails.

I had already given up, deciding that it must be my genetics and decided to wait until my hormonal levels changed and my nails would show themselves in all their glory.

And then, out of nowhere, brown ants appeared at our place and I decided to find a natural remedy or method to get rid of them (which, in principle, is my usual practice).

I came across an interesting article saying that Kieselguhr is simply a lifesaver for all sorts of such plagues, like ants and even bedbugs.

At that moment I did not even understand what exactly this Diatomite is and where it comes from. After scouring a bunch of sources, I also found out that Diatomaceous Earth can be taken internally as well.

One of the listed beneficial properties of D E was that it extraordinarily strengthens nails. I decided that I had nothing to lose anyway and decided to try it.

I ordered it, they sent it to me, I immediately sprinkled a small amount of the powder where those annoying ants lived and went to brew Diatomite for myself, or rather for my nails .

The first impression was as if I had fallen face-first into mud and taken a decent sip of it. That is what D E tasted like.

This is a naturally formed mountain rock consisting of the remains of diatoms (diatomaceous algae).

Diatoms are more than 30 million years old; they appeared as a result of the dying off of microscopic algae and are found in the form of deposits on the Earth’s surface. Diatomite is also otherwise called Mountain Flour, or Kieselguhr.

Composition of food-grade Mountain Flour:

85% — Amorphous Silicon

The remaining 15% accounts for Calcium, Magnesium, Boron, Manganese, Titanium, Copper, Iron and 18 other different minerals.

Do not delay, or else you will have to drink thick mud, Diatomite has the ability to swell. You can also add it to smoothies or any other drinks to your taste.

I have already reached a dosage of 2 tablespoons per day, usually I drink it in the evening simply with water. Since DE removes toxins, do not forget to drink enough water during the day.

* In order to get rid of ants and bedbugs, it is enough to simply apply Mountain Flour in places where they gather or on their paths. After a week, vacuum and apply again.

This procedure must be repeated for at least 3 months.

I also advise limiting inhalation of Mountain Flour, since it can irritate your lungs. If you need to apply it to large surfaces — wear a mask.

* For pets and for killing and preventing fleas, DE can be applied externally, carefully distributing it over the fur and skin; it is better to use a special animal comb for this.

Instead of the popular antiparasitic, simply add a small amount (depending on the pet’s weight, starting from a pinch) to the food every day.
