Dreams in which a person sees events before they happen are neither a myth nor a new phenomenon. Such cases have been documented throughout human history, and what is especially important is that they do not depend on culture, era, or geographic location. People who never communicated with each other had similar dreams that were subsequently confirmed by real events.
The Phenomenon of Prophetic Dreams: What Research Says
Prophetic dreams are mentioned in the earliest literary monuments. Aristotle devoted a treatise to them, “On Prophecy in Sleep” . The Bible describes fifteen such cases. The most famous is Pharaoh’s dream of seven fat cows devoured by seven lean ones, and seven full ears of grain destroyed by seven thin ones. Joseph correctly interpreted this dream as a warning of seven years of abundance and seven years of famine, which allowed Egypt to prepare for the disaster .
Modern research confirms that this is a mass phenomenon. According to various data, from 25 to 50 percent of Europe’s population believe in prophetic dreams, and many claim to have experienced such an experience at least once in their lives . A Japanese study showed that 40 percent of surveyed students had at least once had a dream that seemed to them to predict the future .
Scientific Experiments: Documented Cases
Of particular interest are laboratory studies where dreams were recorded before the events occurred. In the 1960s, a series of experiments on precognition in dreams was conducted at the sleep laboratory of Maimonides Medical Center in New York. Participants described their dreams before a target image was selected. Of the eight experiments, five showed a direct hit, and two more were close matches — with a probability of chance of 1 in 5,000..
One of the most impressive cases involves Malcolm Bessent, who took part in experiments in the same laboratory. On December 7, 1969, he recorded a dream: “A Greek tanker, black in color, will be involved in a disaster of international significance within four to six months. Connected to Onassis.” In February 1970, Onassis’s tanker Arrow crashed off the coast of Nova Scotia, spilling oil and causing an international incident..
In a series of eight experiments, Bessent described the content of his dreams on eight different nights, after which he was exposed to multimedia stimulation based on a randomly selected image. Three independent judges, working blind, tried to match the descriptions of the experiences with the dream transcripts. In five of the eight experiments, a direct hit was recorded..
Why people see the future in dreams
Scientists offer different explanations for this phenomenon. Somnologist and physician at Sechenov University Mikhail Poluektov explains: in a waking state, a person constantly constructs a picture of the future in their thoughts. This allows us to foresee events and avoid undesirable situations.
Dreams can continue this work — the brain, based on memories during sleep, constructs a picture of the future, and in some ways it may coincide with what will actually happen.
The great Russian physiologist Ivan Sechenov back in the 19th century said that dreams are an “unprecedented combination of experienced impressions”. The brain combines familiar images, and sometimes these combinations coincidentally match future events.
However, there are cases that are difficult to explain by simple coincidence. The journal Society for Psychical Research described a case where a woman recorded a dream about meeting a stranger in a striped blouse in a garden and about suspicions that she was a German spy.
Two days later she found herself at a country hotel, where she was told about a woman whom other guests considered a spy. The garden and the pattern on the blouse exactly matched the dream.
What this practice gives us
In our project, we do not try to prove or disprove scientific hypotheses. We use a proven tool — dreams — to obtain information that helps us in life. The many documented cases where people saw the future in dreams suggest that this ability is real and accessible to anyone willing to develop it consciously.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project.
How the practice works
We use special setups — dream affirmations. They tune the subconscious to receive information on a specific topic.
The time of year or any dates in a dream are indications of time. If dreams repeat after setting the intention, the clarity of the signal and its strength indicate the “approach” of an event in time.
This is not magic. It is work with the subconscious, which is capable of perceiving information inaccessible in the ordinary state. The book “Prophetic Dreams and Lucid Dreaming” will help you understand the logic of dreams more deeply.
Affirmation for exploring the future of Europe
You can read it at any time of day or night, any number of times.
Text of the affirmation:
MATA SAYYA (your name)
KEE DALAM MASSA DEPAAN ANTUK TAKHHAAN AKAAN DATANG
KAVASSAAN TANAAH DAN SEEM PADAAN ANTARRA HEDAAP
LATIUN DAN LONGII TAD
36 DAN 10
ANTARRA 52 DAN 0
ANTARRA 53 DAN 30
I will remember everything when I wake up.
What participants see
A participant in the project shared a report: “I look at the European part of the continent from the side of the Eastern border of Poland. Everything is flooded, the water is under ice. Winter. In places where there are natural elevations — cemeteries, crosses. People are encountered extremely rarely.
As time passes, in places where the ice has melted, I see people trying to settle in, to begin managing a household. For them this is an extremely difficult task.”
Another participant, Natasha, shared: “Lately I’ve been dreaming of something like a catastrophe. And it’s happening in Europe. Something connected to France. In my dream I saw water changing color, people running in panic, and then lifeless houses, streets, and entire cities.
I wake up in panic. The word ‘CATASTROPHE’ in my head and a desire to run somewhere.” She used the setup and saw an even more detailed picture: the scale of the catastrophe is large, cities where looting is rampant, lines of refugees moving from west to east.
The information that one needs to flee beyond the Ural Mountains — that is the safest place for the next five years.
What we learn from such dreams
In the dream archive for the past year and a half there are only two reports about Europe. All the others available to date have been realized — the events have occurred. These two also feature a flood, but the visible territory was more rural. They were not big cities.
All more or less significant events perceived in dreams are “under control.” This means that with the help of a special setup we must receive, in an altered state, any signal about a natural or man-made catastrophe or a social event.
In the group, each person has their own topic. Some see natural changes better and more clearly, others — societal and social ones.
How this practice helps
This practice is not for entertainment. It gives the opportunity to see possible scenarios of the future and prepare. If you feel a predisposition to such dreams, you can join. We collect data to complete the picture. The more participants, the more accurate the information.
If you want to try this practice, use the Dream Calendar. It indicates the best days for working with the subconscious. And remember: dreams are a tool. You can use it consciously.
