Part two. How to bring back a loved one

I am standing near the cashier’s counter, maybe it’s a bank or a post office, where people can receive money transfers. Some man comes up and receives 643 hryvnias. And he leaves very quickly, then it dawns on me that this man received the money not for himself, and that the person for whom this money was intended will come and will not be given the money.

Then the next one comes in, a stocky, fair-haired man, and says, but I’m not on the list, and the cashier says, write yourself in, we don’t add foreigners there, the man smiled and signed the list with a very sweeping signature.

I asked him, somewhat surprised, that he came here from abroad just to get money, he answers with a smile, that yes.

I ask if his head hurts too, he answers yes, but, as always, he waves it off, saying it’s nothing serious.

He starts fussing, sometimes hurting me, but not on purpose, he is in a hurry, as if afraid of not getting something done in time. I ask him not to do that…but my alarm clock rings and I woke up L.
