Karma and regressions What do dreams have to do with it? Theories of dreams: karma and regressions. Part 1.

Greetings to all members of the Magikum forum!

In the article below, I would like to share with you my own observations and thoughts regarding a very important, yet practically untouched within the framework of the project topic — the karmic conditioning of dream plots.

I will also touch upon the issue of the dreamer’s regressions into past aspects of their life. I understand that this information may run counter to the religious beliefs and views of some people, so I ask you to treat the stated considerations with the understanding that this is my personal view on these matters. The best approach in this case is to perceive the conclusions as one of the points of view.

The place of karma in life

Undoubtedly, the topic of karma is quite ambiguous. A very large number of people simply do not perceive it as a phenomenon that could take place in their lives.

In contrast to them, there is another group of people who still admit its existence in our world. But often their perception of this concept is limited to a negative meaning, likening this phenomenon to an evil fate that befalls a person for their negative deeds in the past.

However, there are also some people who have studied this topic a little more thoroughly. They consider the concept of karma in a different light, realizing that karma itself (the law of cause and effect) is neutral in nature and contains neither an evil nor a positive principle. It is simply one of the laws of the universe, comparable to the physical laws of our life, such as gravity.

In my personal development, I went through all these stages — from complete denial of the cause-and-effect relationship of phenomena in life to situations when I began to notice its indication in my dreams, up to attempts to find confirmation of my observations.

Proof of karma

After all, this is the main problem — in order to realize and accept something as a phenomenon, it is necessary to find indirect, and ideally direct, evidence for it.

For example, there are no problems with gravity. You take an apple in your hand, release it, and there the fruit lies on the ground. The same will happen with any other object that has mass. And this experience can be repeated by anyone anywhere on the planet. The action and the result occur almost instantly.

Accordingly, the majority is unlikely to dispute the fact of gravity’s existence. But what about the law of cause and effect in the context of life events?

After all, according to the concept of karma, the return for a performed action does not come immediately at all. And it is certainly not always possible to understand where something “came at you” from and for what reason.

So how can one track all this and try to prove it? Dreams helped me with this — my own, as well as those of the participants in our project.

And to be more specific, these were dreams that contained unusual elements. They were repeated in individual plots and had certain patterns.

Karma and regressions What do dreams have to do with it?

In the process of analyzing them, I gradually began to come to the conclusion that in my interpretations regarding their meaning, there was some missing connecting foundation that could clearly show the whole picture of what was seen and experienced in a dream.

As a result of lengthy reflection, I began to cautiously admit that these “gaps” are peculiar markers of cause-and-effect relationships, indicating the passing of karmic exams at the current moment. As well as retribution for past actions, both positive and negative in nature.

I simply saw no other logical explanation for them. But this conclusion automatically raised the next question for me. Let us assume my assumptions are correct.

But how can they be proven? Even if only indirectly. I was prompted to solve this task by dreams in which I presumably saw my past lives. Actually, part of the karma elements that I will describe below were actively present in them.

Hypnosis and regressions — return to the past

I decided to undergo a session with a very experienced and fairly well-known regression therapist, during which I was immersed in a hypnotic trance and thoroughly recounted what was experienced by me in past lives.

Along with this, before the start of the regression, I indicated a number of questions to which I wanted to receive answers during this experience. Some of them concerned those very regressions into past lives in dreams, as well as the related gaps that I wanted to confirm or refute.

I have already repeatedly noticed that there is a certain symbolism and cyclicity in everything.

It is noteworthy that the first dream I posted on the forum (in August 2018), in which I asked other participants for help with interpretation, ultimately became not only the starting point of my active participation in the project but also returned to me two years later during a session with a hypnotherapist, demonstrating the clear operation of karmic interconnection in life.

Thanks to it as well, I was able to identify the primary symbols of karma and indications of the past. An ouroboros in its pure form. I am reaping the fruits of what I started.

A dream is a door to the past, not only to the future

And, by the way, the ouroboros (a coiled serpent/dragon swallowing its own tail) is a symbol of karma among the ancient inhabitants of our planet, a topic I am exploring in this article. Essentially, I began with a karmic dream and now, two years later, I am speaking about it again, but in a more expanded form.

To avoid increasing the already considerable length of the article, I will provide a link to this dream below, which you can review as an example of a dream containing karmic elements — the dream is here.

I will not provide detailed explanations of what was said during the regression regarding the meaning of this dream, in order to maintain relative privacy regarding circumstances of my personal life.

I will only share the main conclusion. In this incarnation, I attempted to take something that was not entirely mine. But this did not happen without reason. In my past life, my situation was diametrically opposite. A person tried to take the same thing from me, and in a fit of rage, I killed him. A karmic knot was formed. And in order to realize its destructive essence, in this life we were swapped.

What indicates the boomerang and retribution for your deeds

Now I will move from the general theoretical framework to the practical component. Below, I will present the main symbol-markers that, collectively, may indicate a life “boomerang of retribution,” which I have identified based on the results of my own (and others’) regression dreams and other karmic dreams.

They should receive your closest attention, as they may indicate that a person is currently trying to resolve situations from the past, as well as receiving gratitude for good deeds.

Preface

No matter how long I approached this text, no matter how I tried to weave from my current understanding of the topic a coherent, concise, and at the same time comprehensible narrative structure — everything ended in the victory of my critical “I,” which did not allow me to advance further in this endeavor, because nothing that I could consider meeting my own criteria for quality of information delivery was working out.

The topic of karma, despite its seeming simplicity, turns out to be boundlessly vast upon deepening, and even I, with my modest understanding, am ready to speak about it for hours. And here I suddenly set myself an almost impossible task: to present a general understanding of the connection between karma and dreams briefly and accessibly. How is this to be done? After all, many philosophers, spiritual seekers, and mystics have devoted their lives merely to approaching a generalization of the essence of karma as such. An incredible number of philosophical and religious works are testament to this.

All of this certainly cannot befit into a single article. Additionally, new intriguing information keeps arriving that requires reflection and verification. And then I faced a choice: either the information in the article would be refined and supplemented for years without any guarantee of accomplishing what was intended, or I would still present it in this form — in many ways imperfect, “raw,” but, as it seems to me, containing seeds of understanding. And in the end, the second option was adopted.

Why? Perhaps because the article should not explain “everything”

I initially embedded a completely different semantic vector into it. Not to serve as an exhaustive reference on understanding the essence of karma in dreams, but to become a kind of pointer in the direction of knowledge for those interested in a somewhat new perspective on understanding dream symbolism, and through this, who knows, to provide an opportunity to look at life as a whole in a new way. Next, I suggest checking whether I managed to do this. So…

Greetings to the participants of the Magickum forum!

I believe the time has come to share with you my further observations, reflections, and, accordingly, conclusions regarding a very substantial and, from my point of view, key topic in understanding dreams — karma. I will immediately note that the text presented below is a logical continuation of a previously published article on this subject. If you have not had the chance to read it until now, I recommend doing so before starting, via the link:

I also consider it necessary to provide a brief clarification regarding the content of this article. It presents subjective observations and conclusions obtained in the process of studying the structure of dreams, their comparison with the ideas of various religious teachings (primarily Vedic knowledge), as well as personal and third-party regression experience, with the aim of identifying theoretical correspondences.

If what is written partially or fully contradicts your views, beliefs, and religious convictions, I ask that you treat with understanding and acceptance the fact that what is stated is the personal opinion of the author.

I would like to begin with a short introductory question, which is meant to serve as the main preamble to the subsequent exposition.

What exactly are dreams?

I have had quite a long path of realizing their essence – from the standard scientific definition, which consists of the visual representation of the brain’s process of analyzing experienced events in a fragmentary and chaotic form, to understanding their deep informational content (of course, with the proper skill and experience in decoding the order and structure of symbols).

However, as I delved deeper into the subject of the emerging interconnection between the plots of dream archetypes and the karmic foundations of human life, my consciousness was increasingly seized by the thought that dreams are not just allegorical plots of past, current, and future events in our lives. They are a full-fledged navigator of a person’s karmic path.

I admit that this formulation may cause bewilderment among readers, since at this stage of my exposition it is unlikely to explain much. In fact, this is precisely the purpose of this article – to reveal this concept. Through the theoretical calculations, observations, examples, and conclusions set out in the text, I will try, through the prism of personal experience, to convey to the reader a slightly

different view of a phenomenon quite familiar to us all – dreams

I assure you, they are still capable of surprising us and appearing before us in a different light of understanding. Even taking into account the previously stated karmic component. According to my observations, the vast majority of people are interested in dreams for two reasons – to understand the subconscious hints regarding current events, but still for the most part to use them to look behind the veil of the future. And here, perhaps, it is most appropriate to admit to oneself that information about the past does not seem so entertaining to us, does it?

In vain. Most of the events in our lives happen now, and precisely in this way only because of the prerequisites laid down earlier in the past. And by no means is this past always limited to the confines of this life. Or even to the confines of life on this planet. In the current moment, we either receive recompense for what we have done, or create a new future for ourselves.

And it is up to us what it will be like. The meaning of dreams, among other things, is to use them to see, in an extremely capacious and dense symbolic form, the origins of a situation, its most likely consequences, as well as paths of favorable resolution in the event of a negative outcome. This is a kind of compass for navigating the flow of life situations,

capable of providing hints on the path of spiritual awareness of oneself, one’s actions, and their potential consequences

But even this conclusion is not final for me. If we nevertheless continue the logical development of this thought, then in an inquisitive mind a feeling arises that all this diversity of symbols and thought forms, in its totality and sequence, presents itself in the form of a language of communication between the spiritual realms and our subconscious, and if memory records the dream, then this interaction also occurs at a conscious level. Accordingly, if this is a language, albeit not in the most familiar form to us, then it is quite possible to try to study it. T

he main thing here is to understand on what foundations and principles it is built. And, from my point of view, the law of karma and the symbolism associated with it are the cornerstone of this knowledge. If karma exists in life, then it is also an integral part of dreams. And vice versa. Accordingly, to understand the principle of the organization of dreams, it is necessary to thoroughly understand how the law of karma works and how it relates to each of us.

The works of V.V. Kononov helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the topic of dreams from the point of view of karma, and they played an important role in studying the stated subject. The article contains partial excerpts from his books, in particular from “Karmic Psychology,” as well as a retelling of individual thoughts and ideas from his public speeches, which I consider it my duty to mention, thereby paying due respect to the experience and research achievements of the author.

For my part, I can say that a careful study of the works of V.V. Kononov made it possible to identify a large number of correspondences between personal observations in the field of dreams and his knowledge in the sphere of karmic interrelations. Therefore, I believe that in my judgments I may well rely on his conclusions as expert ones.

The word “karma” owes its origin to India

Translated from Sanskrit, “kar” means action, and the concept of “karma” itself is considered in the context of result, outcome, destiny, and duty. Thus, if we consider the concept of a person’s destiny from the standpoint of Vedic knowledge, it turns out that his current life is a cumulative reflection of all past lives experienced before this one, a result of previously committed actions.

Of course, the ancient Indian sages were well aware of the laws of karma. In their general understanding, they divided any action into “white” or “black.” A “white” action is performed according to the prescription of Dharma – a set of laws, following which a person is insured against erroneous actions that increase his negative karma.

In essence, a “white” action is any deed committed without any striving for personal gain. A “black” action, as a rule, is the result of selfish aspirations. The overall success of a person’s life depends on the totality of “positive”/”white” and “negative”/”black” karma.

The prevalence of the “negative” brings a person suffering,

delusions, erroneousness of actions, etc. – and ultimately leads to a worsening of fate. In contrast, “positive” karma provides opportunities for the realization of desires, aspirations, and hopes.

The energetic “weight” of each deed (whether positive or negative) accumulated in a person’s karmic “bank” has degrees of gradation. Perhaps this understanding appeared to me most vividly in a dream that I had the chance to see during a period of deep immersion into the nature and character of karma.

At the beginning of its plot, a kaleidoscope of changing images was revealed to my inner eye, depicting, surprisingly, firewood of various kinds and qualities. The showing of these images had a clearly expressed structure – from initially thin twigs (brushwood), their gradual shift towards more voluminous and thick branches was demonstrated. Along with this, an increase in their combustible capacity was implied.

An internal explanation arose that there are woods that easily burn in fire. For example, brushwood. In contrast, there is wood of another type that burns much worse. The reason for this is the density of the wood fibers, the excessive magnitude of which complicates the burning process. At the end of the plot, a large stump with roots was shown before my inner eye as a kind of apotheosis of what had been seen earlier – it is the most difficult and problematic to burn.

As an illustration, memory snatched a recollection from reality,

when my friend tried to burn a stump similar to the one I had just seen in a barbecue grill at his dacha. He did this in several approaches over the course of a couple of days. The emphasis was on the fact that burning a stump in one go is an extremely difficult task. After waking up, I tried to understand the essence of what I saw. The phrase “to chop wood” (to make a mess) flashed through my mind. And after this insight, everything fell into place.

By firewood – dead tree – human missteps were meant. Given the symbolism of the plot, it was implied that unrighteous deeds on the subtle plane are divided into several levels of severity – from those simpler in terms of subsequent working off to more complex ones whose correction requires time, up to a long series of incarnations. However, the opposite phenomenon is also true – every virtuous deed also has its energetic weight. Everything will be counted and taken into account. As they say, God’s scales are accurate.

Continuing the reasoning on this topic, a commonplace logical assumption is quite appropriate – if something exists, then there must also be a place for its presence or storage. In this case, if a person possesses a karmic heritage, then somewhere it must be sought, right? Karma is primarily information. And it must be structured and formatted in one way or another. This, in fact, is the indicator of information as such.

Rock inscriptions, literature, electronic discs, and so on

All this is a form of structured storage of information regarding certain events, experiences, phenomena, programs. Likewise, Edgar Cayce, the famous American medium nicknamed the “sleeping prophet,” described the place where he drew information (the Akashic Records) in his works as a library of incredible size containing all the experience of the universe.

His statements (albeit indirectly) indicate that even such a thing as information on the subtle plane does not reside in a chaotic arrangement but has its own organizational structure and the possibility of appropriate access to it. Man himself, individually, is a kind of branch of this very library, like a single honeycomb in the boundless space of the common hive.

Accordingly, he is also an object of structured karmic information and must contain it somewhere within himself. But where exactly? The physical body is mortal and cannot claim to contain something greater that goes beyond the life cycle prescribed to it. Moreover, at birth, we are already carriers of introduced karmic programs.

So where does this information come from?

It is quite logical to assume that, in addition to the brain, there is a certain imperishable “capsule” that possesses consciousness and the ability to migrate from one body to another while retaining all related memories. It is practically impossible for a materialistic mind to accept this because it undermines the entire established picture of its universe.

It is easier to consider this a fiction, a mental disorder, or extremely rich imagination. On the other hand, the body is unable to transmit information in subsequent reincarnation cycles. But if you make an effort over yourself and try to admit the probability that such a capsule does exist, then many things from the category of the previously inexplicable from the point of view of the materialistic approach become quite understandable.

Many who are at least somewhat familiar with Vedic knowledge are aware, to one degree or another, of the assertion that a person, in addition to the physical body, also possesses other “bodies” that are energetically lighter, yet no less significant for that. All of them are inextricably linked with one another, as if flowing from one into another, while remaining energetic gradations of a single whole.

I will briefly list them in order of distance from the visually manifested (physical) body to its subtlest components:

– physical body
– etheric body
– astral body
– mental body
– causal body
– buddhic body
– atmіc body

I consider it important to emphasize that the given structure of dividing a person’s bodies into groups is highly conditional and exists solely for the purpose of describing the properties and functions inherent in each of the bodies. They do not exist separately from one another. Accordingly, they should be perceived as inseparable parts of a single energetic substance, like a fractal energetic “matryoshka” assembled into one whole, in the center of which is the smallest, and for this very reason the densest of all bodies – the physical one.

It is important to take into account that the higher one of the “bodies” is in the hierarchy relative to others, the larger its size, and, accordingly, the more “rarefied” energetic state it exists in, like volatile gases emanating from the dense depths of the earth.

That is why the physical body is called gross, material, and the rest — spiritual, “subtle” bodies.

Within the framework of this article, I do not set myself the task of explaining the functions of each of them, since in this sphere there are more competent specialists who should be given the opportunity to provide substantive explanations. For my part, I will only say that in terms of studying dreams, out of all those listed above, my attention was drawn to the causal body of a person for reasons that will be revealed a little further.

For now, in this part of the narrative, I believe the reader should take note of the interconnection between the dense and the more rarefied states of matter. This will be of great importance in understanding the process of forming karmic deposits.

Speaking about the structure of a person’s energetic bodies, one cannot avoid touching upon the so-called energy plexuses, which in the East are called chakras. Chakra translated from Sanskrit means “circle,” “wheel,” “disc.” These are centers in which vortices of psychic energy — prana — are located. The human body contains an extremely large number of chakras, small and large, located throughout the entire human body.

In particular, in Chinese folk medicine these are the points of influence used in acupuncture.

Despite their large number on the human body (yoga masters count up to 144 such points), it is still customary to distinguish seven main energy centers, which will be described in a bit more detail below. In essence, these are centers of power, serving as transmitting links connecting all seven aforementioned bodies (physical, etheric, astral, mental, causal, buddhic and atmіc) to one another.

With their help, prana, being transformed, flows from one energetic body of a person to another. In essence, chakras are a kind of transformers of these energy waves and accumulators of energy. Each chakra controls and carries out the activity of a certain zone of the gross body, which may include not only the bones, muscles and flesh within the body, but also a person’s internal organs.

In particular, a person’s health primarily depends on the proper functioning of all of his chakras. But the range of influence of chakras is not limited solely to health matters. Their state also determines the quality of a person’s destiny, since each chakra correlates with a certain aspect of a person’s life. And here, perhaps, it is worth dwelling separately on the concept of the “state of the chakras.”

It is very important to understand that nothing passes for a person without a trace.

Any thoughts, words and especially actions, including interaction with the world, form in a person’s energetic bodies a certain informational pattern of varying shades, carrying within it a most detailed biography.

Thus, a person’s best deeds and thoughts associated with inner harmony, intentions manifested in the outer world, glow in his subtle fields in various light gamuts related to the higher, divine spectrum. Meanwhile, negative manifestations of the past are visible as gray or dark clots — this is negative experience, called negative karma. This information settles in the form of karmic formations directly in the space of the causal body, which I emphasized above.

This body, among other things, is also the place of manifestation of our subconscious “I,” which controls the realization of our karmic program. In particular, the energy of negative actions contradicting the prescriptions of Dharma represents an energetic clot which contains the energy of the event and the information related to it.

Thus, part of the high-vibrational energetic structure of our body

becomes overgrown with a kind of denser shell — a region of the act with a low vibrational level, which ultimately forms a sort of capsule with informational content. From the standpoint of a semantic and visual example, this resembles one of the most ancient methods of transmitting arbitrary messages — a message on parchment in a hermetically sealed, tarred bottle.

It’s just that this “bottle” doesn’t float across oceanic latitudes with the likelihood of someday washing ashore, but rather settles in the energetic expanses of the causal body with a tendency toward subsequent realization. If, in the near future, there is no prospect of it being “uncorked” and the information related to it manifesting, this energetic capsule is deposited in the region of the posterior energy hemisphere of a person. Visualizing it is quite simple.

This is the space located behind the symbolic plane formed by our head, torso, legs, and arms. Accordingly, the anterior hemisphere is the space in front of this symbolic plane. In his works, V.V. Kononov divides karma into latent, maturing, and mature. Latent karma is a kind of sleeping serpent that remains in suspended animation until external events activate it for realization.

If the surrounding environment creates the preconditions for its realization,

it transitions to the stage of maturing or nascent karma. In this case, it is not yet realized but is ready for embodiment in the near future. The final stage of this causal process is mature and realizing karma. It is ready for realization at any moment or has already begun to manifest in life, when a person reaps the ripe fruits of past deeds.

If one attempts to visualize the process of karma awakening, it can be imagined as the flow of a karmic capsule (or block) from the posterior energy hemisphere of a person into its anterior part, into that area where we are already able to see this “bottle” and interact with its information. If a particular chakra does not have a heavy karmic load, it remains in a fully open state, and prana passes through it unhindered.

This, in turn, results in the fact that in the life aspect associated with this chakra, a person will not experience any significant difficulties. It is important to understand that chakras are not only energy transformers but also receivers and keepers of information at the level of the causal body. In turn, the placement of karmic patterns is determined in accordance with the levels corresponding to the location of one of the main chakras to which a deed or event is attributed. Next, I propose to focus on the general characteristics of each of the seven main chakras.

Sahasrara chakra.

It extends upward from the crown of the head to infinity. Here, a person typically holds karmic blocks associated with our alien, non-human incarnations. In human incarnations, karmic blocks in this area arise when a person falls into doubt and suffers from a lack of faith in the higher planes of existence.

In particular, negative karma in this area is created when one’s thoughts, words, and actions are directed against God. As a rule, in atheists, the Sahasrara chakra level is completely blocked. Another cause of blocks in this area is dogmatism. This chakra is responsible for the ability to interact with the higher spiritual spheres.

Ajna chakra.

It extends from the crown of the head to the upper lip. The karmic blocks located here may be acquired by us through incarnations both on other planets and on planet Earth. As a rule, karmic blocks here arise as a result of a distorted perception of both the external and internal world of the person themselves. As a consequence of ignorance, thoughts, deeds, and actions come into contradiction with the fundamental cosmic laws, which disrupts our harmony.

Heavy karma located in this area affects a person’s mental activity, so if it is not eliminated, in the next life one may be born feeble-minded or prone to schizophrenia. Poor vision or blindness, deafness indicate that a person was blind and deaf, treated other people poorly, lacked compassion, did not know how to forgive, and continued to cause harm to those around them. Causing harm to oneself as a result of incorrect conclusions also leads to the emergence of karmic blocks in this area.

A distorted perception of the world leads a person to self-pity and an inability to forgive oneself; they fall into an illusory life, living in the past or in dreams of the future. Very often, ignorance brings with it anxiety, which provokes in a person unfounded aggression, egocentrism, an inability to choose worthy company, and so on. This chakra is also responsible for the cognition of the spiritual laws of the world through intellectual comprehension.

Vishuddha chakra.

It is located between the upper lip and the base of the neck. Karmic blocks in this area can also have both earthly and otherworldly origins. Karma leading to the emergence of blocks at this level arises as a result of lying and its various manifestations: lying to others, believing lies coming from other people and spreading them, and lying to oneself (this becomes especially dangerous when we believe our own lies).

Another cause contributing to the formation of karmic blocks in the Vishuddha chakra area is a disrespectful attitude toward the people around us. This also includes empty or unfulfilled promises, talkativeness, a broken vow of silence, foul language, and the like.

Anahata chakra.

This level is located between the base of the throat and the solar plexus. The Anahata chakra is responsible for a person’s manifestation of higher emotions and feelings. It is what facilitates the manifestation of such a feeling as love. The center of our soul is located in the region of the Anahata chakra. Therefore, the formation of karmic blocks here, as one might guess, must be connected with disturbances that cut off the manifestation of love and similar feelings and emotions.

Another cause of karmic blocks in this area is dogmatism. The strongest karmic blocks here arise as a result of betrayal of love, blind faith or the lack thereof in the unity of the whole world, in God, as well as self-flagellation. Any violations of karmic laws connected with the region of the Anahata chakra lead to the realization of karma often even in this very life. It is also responsible for intuition and the manifestation of higher emotions.

Manipura chakra.

It is located between the solar plexus and the plane passing roughly 3-4 fingers below the navel. Our earthly social life is directly connected with this chakra. The absence of karmic blocks at this level gives a person the power of authority, charisma, and the chances to manifest the brightness of their individuality in all aspects of social life.

The presence of karmic blocks in the region of the Manipura chakra leads to its complete imbalance and, as a consequence, irritability, aggression, self-doubt, greed, a guilt complex, and so on. It is responsible for career and success in social life, the realization of desires, freedom and independence from society, the ability to be the master of one’s own life, including possessing financial independence.

Svadhisthana chakra.

It is located between the plane passing roughly 3-4 fingers below the navel and the base of the pubis. As statistics indicate, karmic blocks of this level are formed only during incarnations on planet Earth. This area is responsible for creativity, the creative aspect of existence in all planes in which a person manifests themselves in this life.

Therefore, the suppression of the creative aspect is one of the main causes of the appearance of karmic blocks here, as is, incidentally, the excessive squandering of the creative principle. But the main violations leading to a severe accumulation of karma in this area are indulgence in spiritualistic practices and black magic.

Фото

False teaching, false prophecy, the dissemination of false knowledge, and various kinds of betrayal,

especially against creativity, also aggravate the negativity. The consumption of alcohol, narcotic and other substances that poison the body, as well as intemperance in food, affect the karma of this area in a negative way.

Sensuality, sexual perversion, and servility also do nothing to improve the situation. Very large karmic blocks appear as a result of political extremism, various kinds of fanaticism, as well as egocentric behavior with strong dominance over other people.

Muladhara chakra.

It covers the region from the base of the pubis to the coccyx, inclusive. This is the area of instincts and of physical life itself. It contains a series of karmic blocks connected with murders, violence, sadism, and the like. These events usually correlate with aggression directed toward the surrounding world, including people.

However, there are cases where karmic blocks are formed as a result of aggression directed inward toward oneself. Self-flagellation, mortification of the flesh, and masochism are their causes. Undoubtedly, the lack of hygiene, the restriction of the necessary needs of the physical body, excessive indulgence in sex, as well as excessive sexual abstinence and puritanism, become for our body the same implicit aggression that also contributes to the karma of this zone.

Of course, the above description of the main chakras is far from exhaustive, and with a due level of diligence one can discover an incredibly vast and information-dense layer of information on this topic.

Now, I propose moving from the general theoretical foundation to a more practical plane of applying this knowledge.

So how does all this tie in with the symbolism and plots of dreams?

==Dirt==

I believe the presence of this symbol is a logical consequence of the ideas described above. Any interaction with dirt indicates involvement in a negative karmic process. This is often demonstrated through dirt getting onto our clothes or body. It is important to understand here that in this way our subconscious shows the karmic state of our subtle bodies (in particular, the causal one) through the demonstration of our physical shells and related coverings.

If in a dream you soiled, for example, a T-shirt at chest level, then this shows our conscious “self” the imposition of a karmic residue in the corresponding energy region. In this case, it will be the Anahata chakra, which is also connected with interpersonal and love relationships. Often such contaminations may take the form of wine, ink, and so on. The blacker the dirt, the worse the transgression is on the scale of severity of its subsequent removal. It is very bad if it is resin or something extremely sticky and difficult to remove.

However, very often in such dreams an interesting element arises.

Once soiled, there comes an understanding that this dirt can all be removed / washed out later. Usually, this thought has a calming effect, making the plot not so tragic. This is precisely an indication of the possibility of a subsequent karmic working off of the misdeed with the necessary involvement of all related persons.

And, of course, from all this follows a logical understanding of the following karmic elements in dreams. Cleaning, laundry, detergents. These symbols are linked to the fact that events are currently happening or will happen in the present that will provide an opportunity to close a certain negative karmic story. This also includes procedures for maintaining body hygiene – shower, bath. To add to this collection, I will include the removal of various abscesses on the body, parasites (leeches, ticks), and so on.

==Injuries==

But this is already much more serious than dirt, since their subsequent working off will occur in a heavier mode. Infliction of serious wounds, especially bloody ones, which in real life would lead to the formation of scars. Scars, based on my observations, are an indication of a certain loss of sensitivity and disruption of energy flows in the area of the chakra related to this formation, which speaks of disturbances in those areas for which it is responsible.

Often this is a symbol that once before, in relation to this area of the energy body, a serious event occurred that led to severe psycho-emotional trauma and subsequent distorted perception of it. Most often I have encountered symbols of scars and cicatrices in the head area. Also, according to my observations, this is a marker that this negative karma arose not in the current incarnation, but in one of the past ones.

Tattoos (especially black ones). Based on my assumptions, this is a marker of very deep karma that is extremely difficult to remove. The difficulty is that this is often a symbol of negative and entrenched character traits that a person may even be proud of and display deliberately, just as, in fact, happens in the modern world, when people themselves take actions to get tattoos, including for the purpose of showing them to others.

==Color==

Colors in dreams are energy markers of karma. This applies to cars, places of stay, and all other surroundings. Here I would like to dwell in a little more detail on the colors of clothing. When analyzing dreams, it is important to pay attention to the color of one’s own clothing and that of the people with whom interaction occurs.

According to my observations, if a dream involves interaction with a person in white clothing, this is a marker of the realization of a person’s positive interpersonal karma. This can play out as significant help from outside in a difficult life situation, an opportunity to receive valuable advice, and so on. Subsequently, the person will regard this acquaintance as very important in life.

At the same time, attention must also be paid to the opposite of white – black. It carries a corresponding warning that in current or future circumstances, the realization of negative karma may take place. However, let the presence of white clothing on a person in seemingly negative dream plots not be confusing either. This may indicate, among other things, that when a difficult period arrives, the person’s available positive karma will resonate as help, softening the consequences.

==Preservation==

I believe many have already guessed that the above analogy with a message in a bottle for the symbolic representation of the emergence and beginning of the realization of a karmic clot was absolutely not accidental. Our consciousness, in just such a simple and accessible form, demonstrates to us the beginning of the realization of the corresponding karma.

For example, the symbol of a bottle of wine. This is a figurative indication of preserved karma from past love relationships, which were associated with a feeling of love intoxication and the impossibility of realizing one’s feelings to the extent that was presented in the individual’s mind at the moment of the events, which subsequently gave rise to an extremely heavy feeling of guilt and longing.

It is also a marker that at the moment of karma formation there was a moment of "clouded" consciousness, an inability to see the objective conditions hindering the realization of what was planned. This gives rise to a contradiction between desire and the impossibility of its fulfillment. It should be understood that when an obsessive idea or passionate desires arise, a colossal amount of psychic energy is released in a person for the realization of what is planned, which strives toward implementation.

If this does not happen, its outer shell "crystallizes,"

preserving within itself unrealized emotions or related experiences, which are transferred to the area of dormant karma until suitable conditions arrive (usually, this is already some next incarnation), when the opportunity to realize what was planned presents itself anew.

Opening and drinking champagne from a bottle (and it must be of good quality – the more expensive and tastier it is, the more capacious the karma) symbolizes the possibility of realizing positive karma. True, for this, one will have to take certain risky actions. However, one should remember that alcohol clouds the mind, and thereby the person risks relaxing under the influence of euphoria or overlooking important circumstances.

Any other food that appears from jars of personally preserved goods, including canned food, food from the cellar and so on, is a marker that a person can receive financial assistance taken from their own karmic reserves. Given the specifics of ancestral karma, we may also receive “preserves” from the hands or cellars of our parents and other ancestors.

I noticed that often these are the stores of our grandmothers or grandfathers.

By the way, when our deceased relatives come to us and ask for food, this indicates that at the present moment they are experiencing a lack of positive karma for their further spiritual advancement and are asking for help. Perhaps the best way to do this would be to perform good deeds on behalf of that person.

For instance, one can bring food to church, take part in charitable actions aimed at helping other people. At the moment of providing help, it is not necessary to say the name of the deceased relative. It is enough to say to oneself that this good deed is being performed on their behalf. Usually one good deed is not enough and help will need to be provided over a period of time. That it has fully reached the recipient, you will find out later from a corresponding dream. For example, that relative is already fed and content, or is sitting at a rich table.

==Storage==

Question: if in our rear energy hemisphere we have personal karmic baggage located in the anahata area, how can we convey this symbolism to consciousness? I believe that it is unlikely to be done better than through the symbol of a backpack. And if, for example, there is an indication of the maturation of a karmic block in the area of the muladhara chakra?

An item taken from the back pockets of trousers will be an excellent illustration. The color of these items, as well as the sensations from them, will hint at what order of karmic energy one has to deal with. But there are, in principle, quite a lot of such items. Grandmother’s chest? The ancestral karma of an individual relative. But a cardboard box is already something fresh, most likely from this incarnation. A basement in the house? Old hidden events. In general, there are quite a large number of similar symbols.

Speaking of such a category as “storage”, one cannot fail to mention the earth itself.

Everything that appears from the depths of the earth indicates the return of something that was once “buried” and seemed forgotten. This can be a treasure, and a person with whom relations seemed to have been completely ended. Various weapons may also appear – knives, swords, bombs and the like.

There are quite a lot of variants of such burials. As an example, a relevant disease with a square logo. In one of my dreams, I saw it as a dead black snake that crawled out of an earthen burial pit (a pit for cattle and other livestock in which infected animals were buried during epidemics) and was already trying to bite a child, but some forces did not allow it to do so.

==Money==

As I have already said above, every person has their own bank of personal karma – positive and negative. In essence, this is our universal account, the energy of which we can convert into the realization of various events in our lives (certainly, with a positive balance). Which similar image is most understandable to our consciousness?

Of course, this is money. In turn, we receive money thanks to the conversion of our time and efforts in relation to some activity. It turns out that if in a dream we buy something valuable, this is an indication that something just as worthwhile will come into our life, for which part of our accumulated positive karma will be used. It is also important to understand that money can be shared with us by our relatives who have a good balance of positive karma.

Usually these are grandmothers and grandfathers.

An important point: the value of what can come into our life is determined by the amount of money in the dream. As an example, I will cite an excerpt from one of my dreams. In it, I bought with my own money a bottle of elite champagne for 1 million dollars. In the dream, I opened this bottle and began to drink this elite beverage.

It seemed incredibly tasty to me. Some time after the dream, having taken a certain professional risk, I got a job in an extremely wonderful company, where I received a good salary and also had very comfortable working conditions. However, this dream also had a reverse side. It consisted in the fact that having an extremely comfortable state of work, we begin to be lazy and our mind can sink into a pleasant feeling of intoxicating triumph, when we are in no hurry to use the provided opportunity to our advantage in the future.

I also uncovered another interesting observation related to money.

A banknote with a denomination that does not exist in reality. In particular, it could be, for example, a 10,000 ruble note with which a person pays for something in a dream. Since such a banknote as such does not exist, in this case it symbolizes that a person will subsequently receive something that, at the current moment, they cannot even imagine as possible in principle.

==Life partners from the past==

In the course of comparing the realization of my own dreams with regression experience, I have identified the following interesting point. Those who were my spouses in past incarnations, when current life events appear on the horizon, are demonstrated… through the image of an ex-wife in this life. In principle, everything here is logical.

The task of the subconscious is to demonstrate to my conscious mind a specific image and level of previous relationships with the person with whom a meeting projection has arisen. I also noticed this peculiarity in the dreams of women, when suddenly their ex-husbands come to them, although in reality such events are not anticipated. The piquancy of the situation is that they can indeed expect their return. But the essence of this image may lie in something completely different.

During periods of severe emotional turmoil

(usually associated with a breakup), certain karmic channels are activated that attract the “ex-husband” (or wife), but already from another incarnation, within the framework of which positive joint karma was accumulated (this will be indirectly shown through harmonious, pleasant colors in clothing, especially white and light shades), in order to provide the necessary moral support to live through this situation, pull oneself together, and find the strength to move on.

And, as far as I understand, the “ex-husband” from a past incarnation does not always come to form an ideal couple with you. He may have completely different tasks. Of course, this is only a particular moment, and each such dream must be analyzed and compared with events in life. In general, in reality this manifests as strange and unconscious attention to a person.

At this moment our subconscious,

which implements the karmic programs stored in it, at certain moments “intercepts” control over our body. At times when we say things that are strange to ourselves and do things that surprise even us – know that this is the subconscious working, striving to perform the necessary actions to activate certain events. It also directs us to those circumstances that are seen as “exams” in dreams, which I mentioned in the previous article on karma and regressions.

==Tag==

A very common element of many dreams. It manifests as one person chasing another, like the Wolf who, for some strange reason, tries to catch up with the Hare in the well-known “Nu, pogodi!” (Just You Wait!). The one who is chasing is often the main bearer of the karmic burden. If appearing in the form of a person, it means that the conscious “I” is largely in charge.

If the chaser is in the form of an animal, it means that in his actions he is guided to a greater extent by the instinctive principle traditionally attributed to this animal. In essence, this is an attempt to replay the situation, to go through it anew. However, one should not consider the one being chased to be a completely innocent victim.

At some point, he could have, as one of the options, allowed such behavior towards himself, did not show the necessary firmness or decisiveness, and also could have been afraid of responsibility for a particular decision made and tried to “hide”.

In particular, this can occur when a person becomes obsessed with the idea of an “ideal karmic partner.”

In reality, we have an incredibly large number of karmic partners. The problem is that, due to insufficient familiarity with this topic, we are often inclined to sacralize this concept. And very often, as if playing roulette, we bet everything on “zero”. And when what we have imagined in our minds is confronted with the harsh realities of life, our worldview collapses, leading to deep depression, loss of faith in people and in the Higher powers.

Yet the cause of all this was only our illusory perceptions and incorrect interpretation of symbols and terms. Even upon the first approach to understanding “tag” there is a sense of imbalance, and there can be no talk of any harmony here.

==Materialization. Ascents and falls==

Why are mountains and heights given such great sacral significance in many religions and beliefs? I believe that in our world this is the most capacious and at the same time most understandable image of the connection between the material plane of existence and the subtler, unmanifested spiritual spheres. I think many remember that it was on Mount Sinai, which Moses ascended after 40 years of wandering with his people through the desert, that God granted him the Tablets of the Covenant.

It was here, at the summit, that he was able to connect with the high vibrations of the cosmos. But it would seem, what does karma have to do with it? Climbers who set themselves the goal of conquering mountain peaks know very well the importance of a properly packed backpack, considering the weight of every item inside it. The mass of even the most insignificant object, summed with other such insignificant things, during a long ascent gives a feeling of tangible heaviness, which can lead to the collapse of the undertaking.

The same thing happens with our spiritual growth.

Negative karma in our causal body is like stones in a backpack that pull us down. The fact is that vibrationally it is much lower than the energy space of the spiritual spheres.

And everything that loses the ability to vibrate at certain high frequencies tends toward heaviness, gaining weight, and accordingly, materialization. That is why we are often shown a difficult ascent into the mountains in our dreams. This is a period when we are truly struggling, since we are living through a difficult time of solving life’s tasks related to spiritual growth.

And conversely, in dreams of the opposite meaning, we may see ourselves sliding, for example, down an icy mountain, which points to a regression in a previously achieved process of spiritual growth. I do not know whether all readers remember the board game with ladders and snakes. As a child, I loved playing it. You had to roll the dice and see which field your progress would take you to. If there is a ladder on the square you land on – wonderful, we climb up.

It is much worse if there is a snake there,

which will slide you down several rows of progress and you will have to start all over again. And quite recently, to my surprise, I discovered that this is actually an ancient Indian game with deep philosophical meaning, known to us as “Chess of the Wise”. It has 108 squares on it, characterizing the main stages of the evolution of the human soul from the point of view of the ancient Indian sages. In those times, representatives of the highest castes – Brahmans and Kshatriyas – played this game.

Its purpose was to try to predict the positive and negative development of current events in a person’s life from the point of view of the karmic component. And in a very surprising way, the symbols of this game are present in the collective unconscious of many people. Climbing up the ladder upward, we, like a token on the board of this game, try to climb up in order to leave the wheel of samsara. And, conversely, by sliding down, we nullify some achieved progress.

By the way, I would be very wary of those who say that they can “nullify” your negative karma. The fact is that it is a process of our spiritual learning, and it cannot simply be undone without going through the experience of one’s own mistakes. This is one of the traps designed to catch lovers of easy paths. It is important to understand that if a person was not initially an involved party in the karmic event, they have no ability to influence this karmic block in principle.

==Examples of dreams==

“Theory without practice is dead, and practice without theory is blind.” Guided by this thesis, I will try further, using several dreams, both others’ and my own, to demonstrate examples of analyzing karmic elements in dreams.

1. The dream outlined below was provided by one of the forum participants through Renie77, who recorded it in detail with the aim of subsequent use within this article as an example. As for me, being a person unfamiliar with the circumstances of the dreamer’s life, I believe I still managed to understand the general meaning of the dream (in any case, some assumptions in the interpretation were confirmed) and possibly the main moral to which it leads. The dream itself is given in the form in which it was sent to me.

> I dreamed a dream, I was about 10-11 years old. I woke up in shock, what kind of fantasy that was. In the dream, I saw myself as an adult woman, but not very old. I dream of a desert, just a desert, nothing there. Simply a desert at all, a blue sky and yellow sand. I am standing in a white long shirt, like a nightgown or a dress, my hair is loose, I am walking barefoot, I sit down and see that in the distance, from beneath a mountain, something rises – simply of gigantic proportions. If you look at that stretch of desert that I could see, it seemed to rise from the horizon. It occupies the entire area, it is so huge – a scorpion.

But it is transparent, it is not like an ordinary scorpion with a shell and so on.

It is not protected in any way; it simply has transparent skin, it is all soft, you can even see the little vessels, it has blue blood. Vessels are visible, it is just so soft, all watery. Gentle, as it were, if you touch it, it can be injured right away. It is coming toward me.

It comes close to me, i.e., I am looking at it and it, sort of, is coming straight at my face. It bites me. It strikes with its tail and hits me in the head. And from below I see a piece of mirror or a mirror, no, not a piece, I don’t remember anymore. Whether it was a round little mirror or a shard, I pick it up and see myself in the mirror. I see myself in the mirror as an adult, beautiful, and I have, between my eyes (the area of the 3rd eye), a wound in the shape of a cross (as if a cross was carved with a little knife).

There is a wound there, with dried blood and the skin raised and deep. It is as if cut deeply, blood does not flow and does not pour. I no longer remember the emotions in the dream, nothing. First I looked at myself as if from the outside, I saw the desert, me walking, then I moved back into myself and saw everything in first person. Nothing else happened in the dream.

I woke up because I see myself in the mirror, touching the wound with my hands and examining myself.

> >First of all, when analyzing this dream, it is necessary to pay attention to the fact that this dream occurred to the participant during a period close to the onset of puberty. It should also be taken into account that she remembers it so clearly to this day. I classify such dreams as prophetic, implying thereby that

a) the event will happen with almost one hundred percent probability;

b) it will be key for this person;

c) it will concern relationships with the opposite sex. As far as I understand, dreams of this kind are dreamed as a demonstration of one of the main karmic tasks of a person for the current incarnation, but in a later period. When a person is, so to speak, shown future life horizons, which is precisely what was demonstrated through the corresponding symbolism of the dream.

The desert symbolizes a person’s inner loneliness,

an acute need for knowledge essential to oneself, a feeling of powerlessness, as well as a sense of life’s instability and losing one’s way. According to my observations, people’s time spent on ice or sand coincides with periods when their family life is in an unstable state. Then a gigantic scorpion appears on the horizon. A highly capacious symbol that demonstrates the following points. The great significance of this event for the person (the symbolism of “bigger/smaller”).

It approaches the woman — an indication that they both inwardly await this meeting, since their faces are directed toward each other and a corresponding rapprochement is taking place. Likely, this man will likewise be a Scorpio by zodiac sign. He will occupy a dominant position in the pair (the scorpion is larger, she does not respond to aggression in the dream). And he will cause her pain, proceeding from the need to realize karmic programs, because he stings with his tail (the stinger with venom in a scorpion is transferred from the rear hemisphere to the front part for attack).

Moreover, what is important, he stings her in the area of the third eye,

which is the ajna chakra, responsible among other things for the ability to cognize through various intellectual practices — astrology, numerology, etc., which is precisely what the relationship with this man will lead toward.

Unfortunately, based on the plot it is not entirely clear whether the wound was formed directly from the sting, or whether it had existed before already. However, I believe the cross still signifies an initially blocked ajna chakra in this woman, and the man’s task is to facilitate its opening, since for him it is no longer a symbol of prohibition but a marker of the goal. In essence, this is his task and role. Nevertheless, having read all this, one should not proceed from the understanding that this man is terrible.

He is simply playing his role assigned to him within the framework of the current incarnation. And here it is important to understand that you yourself made an agreement with him for this “game of life.” Alas, rarely do any of us strive for development during prosperous and calm periods of life.

I think many of those who are reading these lines now,

would agree that they were led to spiritual development by tragic circumstances, often connected with serious conflicts, and even tragedies, with those whom they considered close to them.

Based on the totality of symbols, I can assume that their karma originated earlier somewhere in the sandy regions of the world, possibly Egypt. I make this assumption because dreams of this kind usually contain indirect indications of the geographical location of the event’s origins.

2. > In one long-ago dream I saw myself and the woman with whom there was a relationship, in premises felt as a customs control zone. Around us our belongings were laid out, and there stood a large number of bottles of red wine. On the table lay a black backpack. Understanding comes that representatives of the border authorities will soon arrive to conduct an inspection. There is an anxious agitation in my soul, like in my student days before an exam.

The dream received a quite logical realization.

Our relationship did not pass the inspection by subsequent life circumstances. But they proved highly fruitful for me. Thanks to them, as well as to relentless recording of all dreams during that period, I managed to discover signs of a deep karmic interconnection, and also to identify a large number of related symbols, among them the symbol of containers filled with something.

These assumptions received confirmation during repeated sessions with various regression therapists. It was also precisely during this period that the majority of wine appearances in dreams occurred, whereas after the end of the relationship there was no longer as much of it.

3. > In another dream I saw myself holding a device for smoking those fairly popular supposedly smokeless “sticks.” I am trying to clean its internal components. At that moment I notice that my hands, from interacting with it, have become soiled with a black, tarry sludge in the form of stuck-together lumps clinging to my hands. I believe the information in this article gives an understanding of what this dream points to.

==Conclusion==

I have kept detailed records of my dreams and, accordingly, attempts at their meaningful analysis since the year 2017, which is quite distant relative to current realities. And now, as I review my notes and compare them with subsequent events that are already known to me in the present, I have arrived at a rather interesting conclusion for myself.

Many of the dreams were incomprehensible to me then, but I felt they contained a narrative structure. And if there is a structure, then it is an information archive, requiring corresponding keys to unlock it. And all this time I have been trying to find them.

Still, I have managed to uncover a few things

First of all, I understood that dreams are a kind of language of the looking-glass world, which attempts in a truthful and symbolically capacious form to demonstrate the personal path of spiritual growth. At the same time, it does not show it in full but, like the game “Chutes and Ladders,” demonstrates to me that particular square onto which I am to land from the premises of current behavior. It also can show the previous position which led me to the present. And most importantly — this inner narrator is utterly honest with me.

He doesn’t try to embellish my achievements. He doesn’t particularly berate me for relatively big losses (that I do myself). He simply shows me myself, without any convenient filters of perception. He can warn about upcoming events. When things are bad, he can support me in a difficult moment and give advice. But why? Perhaps because we ourselves are often unable to see reality as it is.

We are wrapped in a bubble of illusions about many things.

Everyone around us is to blame for our sorrows and misfortunes, and we ourselves are the innocent victims of circumstances. Dreams, however, with persistent regularity, present us with a completely different picture. The reality shown there is far from always to our liking. And what then? We do what we are used to doing — we wave it off without trying to understand, without wanting to change our habitual perceptions.

After all, that would entail acknowledging our own imperfection. But if only it were just that. Because often we do something even more terrible — we distort the information we perceive to suit our preconceptions and desires. Isn’t that so? Can you admit that to yourself? If you manage to do it, you will no longer see yourself drunk in a dream. From my own experience, I can say the following: incredible potential for your spiritual growth is created precisely at the moment when we try to be honest with ourselves, which is impossible without being honest with the world around us.

When we can say “I’m sorry” and make sincere attempts to undo the consequences of our negative actions. When we can forgive others for their imperfections, for we ourselves are imperfect. When we don’t lie without any need to do so. What you put out into the world is what you get back. Try it. The results may surprise you.

In my description, I do not claim any dogmatism in what is stated

Try things out, test them, compare them. However, I sincerely hope that in this body of text you will still be able to find something for yourself that can move you forward, even if just a tiny bit, on the path to understanding your dreams. Thank you for reading!

Karma and Regressions: Exams and Punishment / Judgment

Continuation of the article “Karma and Regressions”

5. Exams.

In their essence, they are similar to the previous symbol. But with a slight difference — the controlling authorities indicate what you need to prepare for in order to prove your intention to resolve the karmic situation. Exams show the result of the passage — ready / not ready, passed / failed.

6. Punishment / Judgment. Police officers in dreams.

Apart from the fact that the presence of law enforcement officers in dreams can play out in a direct plot scenario, one should also remember the symbolic meaning of their kind of activity — the control of compliance with the law (by analogy with cosmic laws) and punishment for its violation.

I have clearly traced this interconnection not only in my own dreams but also in those of others. In my dreams, police officers came to me, and I interacted with them after I had committed not the most commendable acts in my waking life.

More precisely, they concerned the violation of some of the fundamental laws of the universe. I think listing them is unnecessary; everyone knows them well. My personal observation is that when, in a dream, I calmly accepted the fact of being arrested by the police, they began to behave differently.

A transformation occurred from the initially aggressive tone and the general feeling of persecution. Although I was still being escorted somewhere, they gave hints on how best to get through the trial, and mentioned that I would be offered help and leniency.

Karma and Regressions: Exams and Punishment / Judgment

From this, I concluded that if you have sinned somewhere, it is worth calmly, with an understanding of the reason for the retribution, accepting life situations of a punishing nature. Such an attitude softens the depth of the consequences.

Here there is a direct analogy with the judicial system. If one confesses guilt and sincerely repents, the punishment may be less severe, and sometimes even completely waived. The outcome of the trial in a dream is the punishment a person will bear for a misstep committed in life.

Here one should remember that punishment is given not to infringe on a person in some way, but so that they realize the depth and root cause of what they have done and try not to act that way again in the future.
