A spoon in a dream is a symbol of material prosperity and relationships with close people or relatives.
A small teaspoon means meetings with friends, and can also indicate dates or close relationships with specific people. Also, it can be an indication of a child in the family (since children eat with small spoons).
A large tablespoon – can indicate guests or mouths at the table in your home.
If you find a spoon or buy one – it means the appearance of a new family member, an addition to the family, marriage.
Collecting spoons – for a meeting, news or a feast that you yourself will initiate.
Many spoons dream of need or large expenses.
Washing spoons – for the desire to bring order to the home in relationships between household members.
If the spoons are dirty – they mean family squabbles and quarrels over money, expenses.
Eating honey with a spoon in a dream – for stable prosperity and lasting well-being.
Feeding with a spoon means troubles, sometimes illness of the person being fed.
If a spoon is broken – for limitations, extreme need.
A silver spoon – for material well-being, prosperity.

What a silver spoon means in a dream
Silver spoons are a very ancient symbol of inherited prosperity. The subconscious uses the image of a silver spoon as an indication of material values, family wealth, and resources that are passed down from generation to generation.
This does not necessarily literally mean spoons. Most often it is everything that has value and can remain to descendants. Silver additionally emphasizes the durability and preservation of these resources.
The prohibition against taking the spoons is a symbol of preserving the right of ownership. The subconscious shows that something valuable will remain within the family, despite external circumstances. This is one of those plots in which a person in a dream literally defends their interests or the interests of their family line.
A dream about bread, pepper, and money that came true
My mother’s dream. Her deceased husband (my stepfather) appeared to her. He put a piece of black bread into her hands. Mama took it. The bread was sprinkled with black pepper on top. Mama brushed some of it off with her hand. A small handful remained, the size of a spoon.
Fulfillment
Mama collected black chokeberries to sell for extra money at a collection point. The collection point also accepted scrap metal. Mama decided to also take some metal part (this object of unclear purpose had been lying in the basement for several years, needed by no one). It turned out that the object was made of brass, its weight was quite considerable, and the price per unit was accordingly quite acceptable.
Mom sold the part, got the money (bread from the stepfather). And black pepper is the earnings from selling chokeberries, and compared to the part, it amounted to a more modest sum, just like in the dream “about a spoonful.” That is why the hopes for a more substantial profit from selling the berries fizzled out.
Bread in a dream is a symbol of income. Black pepper is a smaller income. Mom brushed off part of the pepper – the hopes for a big profit fizzled out. What remained was a handful the size of a spoon – that is exactly how much she got.
A dream that came true about a wooden house and two dressers
I came to visit my husband’s aunt. The aunt and her son live in another city, each has their own home. I am in the aunt’s apartment and notice that everything in the apartment is wooden. The walls are made of boards, the furniture, and even the spoons in the kitchen are wooden.
The aunt is doing something in the kitchen, and she goes into the room. There, too, everything is made of wood. I see a beautiful carved dresser, as if it had just recently been sanded with a plane.
Her cousin is standing nearby, she says to him: “What a beautiful dresser your mother has.” And he acts as if he is seeing it for the first time. They squat down together, open its doors and look inside. And inside there is another dresser, exactly the same only smaller.
I woke up at night and could not fall asleep for a long time, experiencing some kind of fear and inexplicable anxiety. But in the dream itself there was nothing negative. Everything was even, calm.
Fulfillment
It came true about six months later. Her cousin and his wife crashed in a car. She died immediately, he died after a two-week coma. Two dressers – two deaths in that family.
Wooden spoons in the kitchen are a symbol of losses, of forced moderation in spending. Two chests of drawers – two deaths. A beautiful, polished chest of drawers – an unexpected but “beautiful” death (young, sudden).
A dream that came true about an empty stall and coins
Autumn, late evening, dark, damp. A few passersby are still walking along the street. She approaches a retail stall (they no longer exist for a long time), wants to buy something. Inside, a light dimly burns. She approaches the window, bends down a little to peek inside.
The walls are made of rough boards, a counter and nothing else. No goods at all, empty. Only a light bulb on the ceiling. The seller is a guy she knows. She was surprised at what he was doing there. He didn’t answer anything, just smiled sadly.
She takes two ten-ruble commemorative coins out of her pocket, they shine like gold, but she understands that it’s not gold, the coins are just new. She holds them out to him with the words: “Here, this is a gift to you from me.” Both smile, but somehow sadly.
Realization
Not even a month passed before the guy left for his hometown, and there, at home, in a shed, he hanged himself. In life, he had a hobby: he traveled with a metal detector through abandoned villages, across fields, collected old coins.
The empty stall is the emptiness in the guy’s life. Wooden walls are losses, moderation. Coins are his hobby, the thing he loved. She gave him the coins – she gave him a part of his life, but it didn’t help.
What to do if you dream about spoons
If you dream about spoons, pay attention to the details. What kind of spoons were they? Small or large? What material were they made of? Clean or dirty? What were you doing with them?
If the spoons were silver or gold – expect prosperity. If they were wooden – losses are possible. If you were washing spoons – you want to bring order to your family. If you were eating honey with a spoon – it means stable well-being.

Hello, today I dreamed of 2 tablespoons, turned as if back to back, I was moving them slightly back and forth, parallel to each other, they were like 2 magnets that did not want to connect, and some calm music came from them with each movement, then the sound of the sea, then music again, it was as if I were playing music on ordinary tablespoons. I am very curious what such a dream means. I could not find the answer to my question anywhere in dream books. There is nothing about music on spoons.
Good evening, Ekaterina. For a proper interpretation of a dream, it is not enough to simply list the symbols; at first glance, the event in the dream may seem unimportant to you, but if you read the Blogs, observe the transformation, when beginners, almost immediately from the first affirmation, enter the desired phase of sleep, how they feel awareness in the dream, and see detailed dreams that very often accurately reflect reality — you will understand how to describe dreams. As for the symbols — a pleasant, merry feast awaits you, but what it will turn into, who will be there, and so on, we are losing sight of, since you probably described the dream briefly. Try making an affirmation: “To know the future” — remember the dream and describe it, you can do so in the Blogs, where communication takes place online.
