Dream of receiving a letter dream interpretation

What a letter means in a dream: interpretation according to the dream book and stories that came true

Receiving a letter in a dream means news. To read a letter in a dream and learn about something good means that in waking life the news will gladden you too. You will soon receive good news. To read a letter means to learn certain secrets. A letter with a mourning border means news of death.

A registered letter in a dream means troubles, disputes, quarrels. Receiving several letters means several pieces of news, and different ones at that, and you will receive them all at once. But many letters mean news about acquaintances who live far away from you.

Writing a letter yourself in a dream means a desire to convey important information to someone or to reveal your feelings. It depends on what kind of letter it is and to whom it is addressed. A love letter means the feelings of the one who wrote it toward the one who received it or is supposed to receive it.

A letter from a deceased person in a dream means that some secret will be revealed. To send a letter in a dream means to provide information in some way.

A dream come true: a letter and a submarine

A participant shared a dream. She is in the ocean, in a submarine. Semi-darkness, many people, familiar and unfamiliar. The submarine is heading to the other end of the Earth. She feels uncomfortable. After a while she realizes that the submarine is not moving. She decides to find the captain.

She finds a door, enters. She sees a man, asks what is the matter. He mumbles that he cannot handle the controls. She says in a commanding voice: how can it be that people’s lives depend on you, and you do nothing?

Can you let a woman take the controls? He answers: for God’s sake. She sits down in the chair, realizes that something is wrong with the pedal. I climb down, see that everything has become overgrown with moss, and the culprit of it all is a long iron beam, because of which the pedal is jammed. She realizes that if she pulls out the beam, the submarine will become unmanageable. She decides to pull it out.

On the right a semi-transparent figure in a white cloak appears. She receives the phrase: “TRY, ATTEMPT”. She sees her legs are bare, they are stronger than in life, and overgrown with hair. She laughs. She realizes that she is managing to steer. She feels a mad speed. In the captain she recognizes her husband. A bright light strikes the window – they have surfaced from the water. She knows that it is the sea.

The boat’s cabin turns into an airplane cabin. She makes the decision to leave the vessel. She sees a huge liner on the blue surface of the sea, she knows she needs to go there. She finds herself on the liner and calms down. She realizes that she needs to write a letter — this question tormented her in life. In the dream she got the answer — to do it.

Answer: she received news that she needed to act. The letter symbolized the need to convey information. She was ready to take control into her own hands.

A dream come true: the letter and the postman

The participant had a dream. She is in a public room, many people, she is sitting on a stool in a black dress. A woman postman arrives with a bicycle. She begins to pack into a large kraft envelope a letter-parcel with blue caps and springs.

The woman director of the Main Post Office appears and asks: what difference does it make how many seals to put on the envelope? She knows that depending on the importance and weight, the number of seals depends. Four red stamps appear on the envelope, she hands it to the postman.

Then the dream: she is standing in a white empty space. Two women in black cloaks with hoods approach, their faces half-covered. One says: now Flamingo, then there will be the Meeting, and then the Circle of Protection is within easy reach.

Answer: the letter symbolized the news that her desire for a personal relationship would be passed on to the addressee. Four stamps — the importance of the message.

What to do if you dreamed of a letter

If you dreamed of a letter, ask yourself: what news am I waiting for? What do I want to tell someone? If you receive a letter — expect news. If you write a letter — you want to say something. If you send a letter — you are ready to reveal a secret.
