An aborigine in a dream is a symbol of the primitive principle. Local inhabitants or indigenous people of another country denote aspects of human nature, a character trait. This is something primitive, close to natural impulses. To simple human instincts and needs.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. Thousands of real examples from our project have been collected there.
Aborigines in a dream mean the absence of “culture” in behavior, in relationships. Habits or impulses connected with the natural principle, with natural processes. A connection with nature and the entire living world. The book “Prophetic Dreams and Lucid Dreaming” will help you understand the logic of dreams more deeply.
However, most often aborigines in dreams mean themselves. That is, inhabitants of other countries with a different culture. The dream may come true in such a way that either you will go to another country, or foreigners will come to you.
A participant’s dream: fur seals, roe deer and aborigines
A dream of a project participant.
I dream that aborigines are killing animals like roe deer. They cut off their heads. Right there is the interconnection. On the shore there are fur seals. They are huge males. There are many of them, and all of them have some kind of devices like glasses on their faces. But these glasses do not give them the opportunity to feed, because they also cover the nose. And they fed on the cut-off heads of the roe deer, which the aborigines specially left for them. They themselves ate the roe deer without the head.
Apparently, because the natives ran short of food, they started eating heads too. Therefore, the fur seals began to die in great numbers from hunger and these glasses. I see a seashore strewn with dead small and large black fur seals.
The natives are all in brown clothing, the kind natives wear somewhere in Africa. A skirt made of grass, something made of grass around the neck too, beads, a spear, and barefoot. They are all somehow brown.
Then there was a second storyline, but I don’t remember it. But I definitely remember that it had a clear connection to the first storyline, particularly to the fur seals and the natives. In the dream I had no feelings at all. I just watched and knew that everything was exactly like that.
Analysis of the symbols of this dream
The participant analyzed the dream by symbols.
A fur seal is a very rare dream symbol. It symbolically characterizes a man. This person can show signs of attention, is very gallant with women, knows how to spark interest. However, his passion for the female sex is so hypertrophied that he can have many affairs at the same time and even potentially start more than one family. In short, a womanizer.
A roe deer is a woman, free and beautiful in her natural form. Potentially very attractive and desirable prey for a hunter (a man).
A goat is a domestic animal under control. And a roe deer is wild, free, belonging to no one.
An animal’s head — if the head belongs to domestic animals, the dream will point to losses of material prosperity or troubles in the family. But a roe deer is not a domestic animal, but a forest and wild one.
Natives are a symbol of the masculine character trait that, on the level of instincts, kills the “doe” in a woman. They feed off a woman’s body. They cut off the doe’s head — for a native, a woman’s mental qualities are unimportant; the main thing is a source of sustenance.
What these symbols mean in reality
The participant concluded: a womanizer “feeds” on women’s striving for good things in life. He uses women who strive for this, lures them in, takes advantage of them, deceiving them and their hopes.
Since in her dream the fur seals began dying of hunger, that’s good. This may indicate that she shouldn’t fear men of that sort. She won’t give them a reason to approach her. Her intuition will immediately help her identify them.
But the “doe” symbol is of great significance. After all, it is what the fur seals fed on. It was precisely because of the absence of doe heads that they began to die.
The chain of the dream: changes in the behavior of the woman-doe. The natives began to lack bodies (food), and they started eating the heads that they used to give to the seals. There were fewer does ending up with the hunters.
The adaptation on the seals’ faces — glasses that limit choice. By scent and sight they determine what to eat. If for the natives only bodies are enough, then the seals are strictly limited in their choice of food.
They both feed on women-does. The natives indiscriminately, as long as they don’t die.
In life it looks like this: a woman will marry a native. Then, as a consequence of his primitivism, a fur seal appears. Or the other way around. And then, having exhausted herself, the woman realizes that they can give nothing in return. They are trained only to take.
And she, a woman, wants no one to “eat” anyone. She wants everything to be beautiful, mutual, a healthy feeling of love, respect and understanding. She wants care to be mutual.
In her dream, the natives and the cats had very little food. This means the deer became smarter and learned to avoid death. The cats have already died. Now the natives need to fade into oblivion too.
Response from another participant
One of the project participants gave an explanation: the dream relates not simply to relationships, but to the outflow of energy. The deer is a wild, natural, free and energetically saturated being. Men have an attraction to women at the subconscious level. Even genetically. One of the manifestations of love is desire for a woman, sexual attraction (hence the natural outflow from the woman to the man, that is, food). The aspects in the dream are revealed in this form, in “eating” without heads.
The participant agreed: this is exactly what she meant. Ideally there should be an exchange of energies. Only then will there be healthy relations between a man and a woman. The woman will give more, but the man, if he wants a normal relationship, must give in return. Two communicating vessels. Not an equivalent exchange, but it must exist.
No one wants to be energetically eaten “all by oneself.” No one wants to be headless energetic food.
Continuation of the dream: rehabilitation center and dirty toilet
The next day the participant had a dream continuing the theme.
I dream that I work in a rehabilitation center for adult inclusionists – bedridden, seated and ambulatory. Valya works with me. In life this woman is my colleague. She has three small children, so she is all about family and children.
In her dream, she is having sex with a man. He always comes with his grandmother. The grandmother is like an addition to the man. She does nothing, she is just always there.
All the action takes place in the toilet and the bathroom. The man came out of the toilet, and I immediately went in. I look — the toilet bowl inside is all covered in poop and bits of paper. And all of it is stuck on as if on purpose, even under the rim of the toilet bowl. The toilet lid is broken off.
I am indignant and I say to Valya: “Well, can he really not clean up after himself? It’s such a basic thing! You spent so much time training him!”
Valya answers: “He just doesn’t want to, that’s all. He tipped over a jar of honey and smeared it around.”
I understand that this man’s problem is that everywhere he goes he leaves a huge mess behind him. Valya was training him to be tidy so that he could at least somehow be in society. But the results are zero. I flush the toilet. It is clean.
Then I go to the washbasin. It is ceramic, wide, normal and clean. But the faucet is strange. It is made of light-brown plastic and kind of pot-bellied. It has a thick layer of dirt on it. I find a rag in my hands, and I start rubbing the faucet. At first I could only smear it around, because the layer of old dirt is very thick. But then it started to go normally.
What this dream means
The participant was told: this is a dream about working through things. Getting rid of that image of a man. The strange faucet covered in dirt. She is cleaning away everything connected with that type of person.
The toilet bowl inside is all covered in poop and bits of paper — that behavior is indeed deliberate. He always comes with his grandmother, not with a woman. A person’s degradation begins when development stops. In this case — in relationships.
What to do if you dreamed of aborigines
If you dreamed of aborigines, pay attention to what they are doing. They show your own instincts or the instincts of those around you. Something primitive that you do not control.
Ask yourself questions: what do I do on autopilot? Which of my habits come from childhood or from nature? Who around me behaves “like an aborigine”? Isn’t it time for me to stop being a “doe” for someone?
