I dreamed it in July 2019. My parents’ apartment, a feast, many people. My sister and I were sitting in the front rows, i.e. to the left of our young dad, helping with something. The guests are taking apart the leftover food, pancakes.

Mom looked into the window, and there’s a kitchen, in the kitchen there are large piles of very large pancakes, they were thick and big. Lying on the tables below on shelves or racks (like in kitchens). There a cook is tossing them straight from a huge frying pan into a pile, they’re the size of the whole pan, solid, thick like a casserole.

Mom looked and remembered about her things outside and hurried. She came to the things, they weren’t there, she got worried that they had been stolen, because there were documents and money in them. The driver said: they won’t be stolen here, they’ll be found. And indeed they were found, everything in place — the things, the money, and the documents. They probably just moved them. Mom calmed down.

Then mom looked around, and everything around was beautiful — mountains, fields, everything green, clean, like in Switzerland. Mom is standing with her granddaughter up high, admiring this beauty. That is, they are somewhere up high and looking down at the landscape. Probably on a mountain, a hill.

And they need to go down there. The road leads now down, now up, like ordinary mountain roads. And all around is also green and beautiful. Mom doesn’t remember whether she was riding or watching from above. Below she saw a village and decided that it was “….” (the name of the village), that is, my village where I live in Switzerland. In reality it’s not like that. Mom said: finally we are home.
