In the dream I saw that a certain stranger had ordered the making of a “Venetian dress” at a tailor shop.

Since the tailor shop’s work costs considerable money, she devised a cunning plan: to arrange things so that the dress would supposedly be put up for sale in one of the boutiques. Then she and her companion go there, and accidentally discover this very dress.

As is not hard to guess, her man decides to buy it for her. This whole story was told to me and my friend by another stranger, who also showed us this elegant garment.

On top of the dress there was a light cape with raglan sleeves, decorated with an attractive floral pattern (I especially took a liking to such sleeves and the shade of the material, and I could not stop admiring the quality of the tailoring).

Beneath this striking cape was hidden the main black dress.

It turned out that the material was rather cheap, the seams were made imprecisely and roughly; in some places the black threads had twisted into clumps.

On the lower back there were either trims or pockets, executed very unattractively. Having expressed all these remarks aloud, I felt embarrassed about my inappropriate behavior, after all, I had not been asked to do this and my criticism was unnecessary.

My friend, however, took the evaluation quite calmly and agreed with me.

How the dream came true: Once, a friend of mine told me some gossip that she had heard from an acquaintance about our mutual friend Yulia. The story seemed to be from the dream: the girl who sewed the dress is our Yulia.

I hastily blurted out that perhaps there was an element of magic in her success. Later I regretted my words, because it was only a guess, and I had already slandered the person.
