The dream occurred in winter, and it was fully realized in early summer. But firmly holding my bicycle by the handlebars, with ease, without emotions, I freely pass through this place and come out onto the road and onto the sidewalk toward the new building. There, a tall, middle-aged woman joyfully greets me. And the old woman behind me disappears.

Realization

All the symbols in the dream were clear and simple. In reality, all that was needed was to wait patiently and react in time. No matter how difficult the circumstances — the old, plain-looking woman (the old hag) trailing behind in the dream — the participant clearly memorized the symbol “the bicycle in my hands.” This symbol became the most important one over several months in everyday life.

She firmly pushed all her emotions and conclusions to the back of her mind, remembering that she needed to hold tightly in her hands “the handlebars of her bicycle.” In other words, to follow her intention with full discipline. Therefore, she easily passed through the symbolic pothole.

I focus my attention — what is she mumbling? Knowledge comes: back in her youth her grandmother taught her magic spells. How to cast a love spell on a man, how to do “kradniki.” And this Valya spent her whole life muttering incantations over food and drink — for her own and for guests.

Everyone sits down at the table, the husband eats and drinks, and becomes inadequate. He starts hugging Valya, saying tender words. And he doesn’t even look at me, as if I don’t exist.

I started arguing with her, and my husband stood up for her like a mountain. Mikhail sees all this and smirks — he’s like an outside observer and doesn’t take part in it. I tell her that I know about her witchcraft and won’t let her ruin my life anymore.

Valya lunges at me to fight, but for some reason gets scared. But she hisses angrily right in my face: “Drop dead!” At that moment, I shoved a fig right in her face, in her eyes, with my left hand. And the most interesting thing is, my husband did the same thing—a fig in her face!

The participant remembered that her mother-in-law before her death said that Mikhail was supposed to marry another girl. And upon returning home, she was like a squeezed lemon, and her husband would immediately run off somewhere. Valya was stealing her sexual energy.

The sorceress is pulled out through the window vent as if by a vacuum cleaner. I closed the window vent. I walked up to the table and peered into the pot. What was the witch mixing in there? I see beets, potato peelings and a broken raw egg. I start mixing it myself, continuing her work. Then it was as if I came to my senses, what am I doing? I threw all of it into the trash bin and left their kitchen.

The participant realized that she herself had almost continued the work started by her. She was literally spellbound. She came to her senses just in time.
