What different plots with a bat mean

A bat in a dream means unpleasant news, death, misfortunes. A bat in the house means bad changes, difficulties. A white, gray-haired bat means the death of an elderly person. A bat attacks means a threat, danger. A bat sleeps means a temporary lull that can be used.

A dream that came true: the white bat and the grandmother’s death

A participant shared a dream she had in the first days of October. She is walking through a village, approaches a fence, and on the fence hangs a large bat upside down. She turns to it, the participant is surprised at how unusual it is, all gray-haired, straight white, ancient-ancient. The bat looked at her, turned away, and covered itself with its wings. Then she sees her dad, who is bustling about, all wrapped up in worries, and snow in the yard.

The dream came true: her grandmother died, all gray-haired and ancient — she was 91 years old. There were the hassles of the funeral, the worries, and snow lay on the ground. She died in early December.

A dream that came true: a bat attacks and the death of an acquaintance

A participant shared a dream. A bat either attacked her or retreated, causing no harm. The dream came true: she learned of the death of an acquaintance.

A dream that came true: a bat and an ex-husband

A participant had a dream. She arrived with an unfamiliar guy in a car to some courtyard. She closes the iron gates, the guy tells her to do everything very quietly. Bats have descended on the ground, they hear well, one must behave carefully. She is afraid, quietly closes the gates and walks toward the house. She remembers she forgot something in the car. She opens the front door, wants to take the item, and realizes that a bat is hanging above her head. She looks at it, the bat begins to stir. She gets very frightened, slowly gets out and walks backward. She moves away some distance, but hears the bat beginning to wake up, yawning, and she becomes even more frightened.

The guy in the dream is her ex-husband. The house represents new circumstances from which she wants to shut herself off, and from the person who prevents her from living. The ex-husband will again tell her that there is nothing in this world for him, will intimidate her with beatings and killings. She will be afraid again.

The outcome: in the summer, she told her ex-husband to leave. He saw that she was serious and started really intimidating her: he would set the house on fire, kill the whole family, kill or maim her, then serve his time, get out and maim her again. She did nothing because she was afraid. She stood her ground until the very end, when she saw that he had started running around with a jerrycan, then he attacked their son. She had no protection; she realized she needed to behave quietly and do everything he wanted, but very quietly and calmly. It was hard, she sank lower than the baseboard, but there was no other way — they refused to help her. After the situation with him, she found this dream and understood the hint: “don’t wake the beast.” She did everything she needed to do on the sly while he “slept” like that bat in the dream.
