Honey in a dream is a symbol of sufficiency, wealth, prosperity and well-being in one’s personal life. To see honey in a dream, to collect it, to take it out of a hive or to acquire it for yourself in some other way means imminent enrichment and receiving income.
To eat honey in a dream means the pleasures of life, well-being and a secure existence, if of course the honey was to your liking. But if the honey turned out to be bitter, or if there were any other negative characteristics in such a dream, the dream means sorrow and vexation, disappointments and deceived hopes. This may also concern one’s personal life if lovers had such a dream.
Any other accompanying symbols in dreams where honey is present only strengthen the influence of its positive properties and characteristics as a symbol: honey with milk, honey with bread, and so on. Here one must take into account the combination of symbols.
A fulfilled dream about honey and a boss
Here is what one of our participants told us.
A dream without affirmation. I am in an unfamiliar room with my boss, and also with some other guys (I do not know them). My boss and I are looking at each other. Then my fingers are all tangled in honey (I do not know where it came from). I start licking my fingers, and there is more and more honey, it is tasty and sweet.
My little finger is the most covered in honey, I lick it and the honey is so tasty, and there is more and more of it, on the nail. Opposite, a little farther away, my boss is sitting and watching, now me, now the other guy. I also see out of the corner of my eye that a dark-haired guy is looking at me, but I do not pay attention to him, while the boss does and gets angry with him.
Then I go up to the boss, he takes a saucepan with cloudy water, gets angry… He pours it out and says: what kind of cloudy water is this, you can’t even drink it, who put it here? I say: pour some new water, and you bought tea, make some and drink it. I say this to him calmly, and he’s angry at someone.
Dream fulfillment
It came true a year later. The unfamiliar place and unfamiliar guys — that’s my new job and team; at that moment I was working with the same boss, but in a different place. The looks really were repeated in life too, he watches me constantly, I see it and I watch too.
Fingers tangled in honey — in this position I earn more than at the previous one, and I like it. Our communication with him has become much better and closer than at the previous job — the LITTLE FINGER symbol.
The dark-haired guy — that’s a real dark-haired person, also a boss. I see that he likes me, and my boss sees it too, and gets a bit angry, he constantly distracts him. But I don’t care, I don’t pay attention.
The NAIL symbol also says that they like me, and I really do have a partner. The boss is very angry right now, he can’t do what he planned — the symbol of Water that he can’t drink (senior management is holding him back, muddying the water).
I tell him that he consciously came here to work and change everything. Now he needs to do it himself (the symbol of tea that I offer him to drink), and I say this calmly. He constantly gets angry at the management and their wrong vision (the emotion of anger was repeated).
And yes, most importantly, in life I address him formally, always. Even though he’s only a year older than me. This says that he and I have become closer in our communication.
Dream about honey and a leopard
A dream based on the affirmation “The Power of the Moon.” The wish was to visit New York. But the dream was completely off-topic.
I am in a house, but the surroundings are unfamiliar to me. I see a leopard walk into the living room. A big cat with the corresponding coloring. It approaches me, doesn’t growl or jump. But I am afraid, because it’s a predator, you never know what to expect from it. I tried to get away, went into the kitchen.
I see an electric kettle, boiled water. The leopard is right there, I ran back into the living room. I climbed onto a tall dresser, it stands below and looks at me. I poured boiling water from the kettle onto its back. The animal didn’t react, but it left me and went to my husband.
I shout to my husband: do something, call emergency services. He is scared too. He has the same kettle in his hands. He poured hot water over the leopard. But to no avail. I climbed onto the wardrobe and started dialing the emergency services number.
The operator listened to me and said that leopards love honey, all you need to do is give them a tablespoon of honey and the animal will fall asleep and become non-dangerous. I poured honey into a bowl and gave it to the leopard. The animal licked the bowl clean. And collapsed into a big cardboard box. Looking closer, I saw that a young woman was lying there.
Discussion and interpretation of the dream
The participant looked into the fulfilled dreams of the project and saw that the leopard plays out as a danger to life or relationships. In this dream it is clear that this is a woman who threatens the integrity of the marriage. She will be very emotional and apparently there will be quarreling with her — pouring boiling water on her.
She will ask her husband to end these relationships. But she is not going to do that — she will pack his suitcases and throw him out along with the leopard. The husband will also be freaking out. The moment with the honey is unclear. It turns out that she will give her money, because honey is a symbol of well-being.
Opinion of a forum participant:
Allow me to express an opinion. I don’t have clear thoughts, but I do have a small hypothesis. First about the leopard, and about the symbolism of reflecting the image of this beast in a person. Since ancient times, warriors resorted to the totem of the Leopard before the most decisive clashes and тяжелые battles. The power it bestows upon its ward can be both creative and destructive.
On the one hand, the animal is a reliable defender and a vigilant guardian; on the other, it can destroy a person who drowns in his own aggression. A characteristic trait of the predator is attacking its prey from behind. The leopard will never begin an attack head-on.
Leopard people will never enter into open conflict; it is easier for them to step aside, but at the moment when the opponent calms down, enjoying his victory, they attack. Their blow is powerful and merciless; they absolutely leave no chance for life.
It seems to me that this is your warlike aspect, which you yourself fear, and your husband. And you try to scald it every time. And in order for it to fall asleep, you need to feed it with “well-being.” That is, change tactics, stop gearing up for battle and desiring to analyze what went wrong, otherwise your beast will cause you tangible and destructive harm. You need to focus on maintaining well-being in your family, so that the beast stops posing a danger, and everything will improve for you.
Participant’s response:
Don’t apologize, thank you very much for your opinion. I am one-sided in my thoughts, because I have been through many “lessons” with my husband. Painful enough ones. Perhaps you are right. Now I have a constant expectation of a catch, of some unpleasant surprise from him. And in my soul I am truly militantly disposed. Although my husband doesn’t give any reason for it either. I like your interpretation, it is unexpected and at the same time logical.
To scald a leopard – you, in your heat, try to chase it away, drive it off, but in fact you provoke it with your actions. A fine line.
A dream about chalk spots, a dog and a bear
In a forum discussion, the participants were analyzing a dream with unusual symbols.
Chalk spots are “traces of communication.” Since it didn’t bother you much in the dream, it won’t draw much attention in life either (feelings and emotions are the best indicator). The dog and the bear – you understood yourself who they are. Men, one is more like a friend, the other is an adult, solid person who will be sympathetic to you, will “stand before you on his hind legs.” In the dream you didn’t do anything with him, so I don’t know what you will decide in reality.
What to do if you dream of honey
If you dream of honey, pay attention to its quality and taste. Sweet, tasty honey – for abundance and well-being. Bitter or spoiled – for disappointments. Collecting honey – for income. Eating honey – for pleasures.

The day begins with this site
I don’t find any signs of talent in this OS, but the process of appropriating and integrating the “mother’s” things with my main aspect was pleasing. Recently, I set a task to achieve annihilation of those images of other people that symbolize my aspects and are a sign of a kind of “partial depersonalization” in a dream. I think that full elaboration of the aspects will signify complete integration and awareness of oneself with gaining control over one’s actions.
Today I became lucid in a dream, found myself in the parental bedroom of a sold house, realized the significance of this room, packed into a bag all the good things of my mom’s that I found in the closet and nightstand. Mom in that particular house represents my aspect connected with my profession. There was a moment of hesitation due to low lucidity, that these were mom’s things, not mine. I swept up everything that seemed valuable — jars of coffee, perfume, creams. There was other stuff too, but the emphasis was on the above. I packed a full utility bag, gradually the contents of the bag melted away, which brought satisfaction — the process of the contents disappearing was perceived as “absorption and digestion,” that what was taken is accepted by the present, began to be used, rather than gathering dust in the pantries of the past as a possibility. It seemed I woke up and did it all in reality, felt silly — if collecting symbols into a symbolic bag is great, collecting real creams into a real bag looks inadequate. Then I realized I was still asleep, went to water the houseplants.
