A dormitory in a dream is a symbol of community. Such a dream points to a common cause, common interests or goals.
If you dreamed of a dormitory, the dream says that in your life there is a group of people with whom you are forced to coexist.
Want to figure out what your dream predicts? The dream interpretation app has all the symbols of the project – more than 7000 interpretations. The website has only part. Everything else is in the app. There are also stories of people whose dreams came true. Each interpretation is based on the analysis of thousands of confirmed dreams.
What a dormitory means in a dream: the main meaning
The symbol Dormitory has always come true for me as Community, that is, a common cause, common interests, goals. It concerned relationships, and so on. Depending on the context of the dream, the people nearby, familiar and unfamiliar, sensations, events, etc… The main meaning is community.
Check the meanings in the app. Each symbol has its own interpretation. Pay attention to all the details of the dream. Not everything is on the website – the app has over 7000 symbols, collected from the analysis of thousands of the project’s fulfilled dreams.
A dormitory often symbolizes a situation where people are forced to “live together”. To coexist together. It can also point to a team at work. And to other groups of people.
The full interpretation of the symbol, with all the details, is available in our app. There is the entire dream dictionary database of the project: more than 7,000 symbols that are not publicly available. We even have dreams that are not in any dream dictionary, because these are not made-up symbols, but real cases that came true.
The dormitory as a social environment and experience
This is an environment of communication between people, and specifically a symbol of with whom and where certain events will take place.
A student dormitory is also the acquisition of experience (learning). Moreover, the dormitory itself dictates certain rules of “residence” (behavior in this society).
A dream about a dormitory that came true
This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses.
A participant’s story:
All the dreams are about the apartment where I lived with my ex-husband. Now he lives there with his woman. The dreams occurred at intervals — from several weeks to several months.
In all the dreams I do nothing, I just enter the apartment, look around and leave. Moreover, I don’t have the keys, on the way to the building I worry about how I will get in, but I get in without any problem — the door is open.
1st dream. I enter the apartment, and it has become larger — a two-room apartment, with a very strange layout. But it feels cramped somehow, lots of furniture, not bright. Some of the things are new: a sofa, curtains, and some other small items. I look at all this and think: “It was better here when I was around.” There is a clear understanding that Masha (the woman my husband left me for) lives here with him, and therefore I need to hurry and leave.
2nd dream. I enter the apartment, it still has the same whimsical look, but somehow empty, poor, a bit dirty. It has become smaller in area. There is almost no furniture or things. I look for traces of Masha’s presence in the apartment. I don’t find any. I think: “What does he (my ex-husband, that is) even eat?” I look in the fridge — there is just one single pot, nothing else. In the pot is something resembling soup, but spoiled. To myself I think, “He’s hit rock bottom,” and I leave.
3rd dream. Here I, as before, enter the building, but instead of the usual arrangement of apartments I see that it’s a workers’ dormitory. It’s scary and dirty there, like in a dormitory for migrant workers. And the apartment I’m looking for is in this dormitory. I leave from there.
4th dream. I enter the building, the same dormitory. But now on the floor below there are work offices (where he works in real life). As if some kind of consolidation has happened, so they work here. I leave again, because it’s very dirty and I’m afraid of meeting him.
5th dream. Now the work offices have moved onto the same floor as the “dormitory” altogether. And, as it happens, the door to the needed apartment is located next to the door to my ex’s work office. I look at the sign on the office, and it’s torn off, hanging on a single nail. I want to enter the apartment, I open the door, but I can’t go in: now it’s some kind of storage room, about a meter by a meter in size.
And it’s filled with all sorts of junk — leaky buckets, sticks, old stuff, just like an attic from horror movies, and it’s also very dark, there’s no light in there. I close the door and get away from there.
How the dream came true:
Victoria’s interpretation. A dormitory in a dream symbolizes community. In this case — a situation where people are forced to live together. The dream came true.
The dream showed: the dormitory in the dream coincided with a real situation. The ex-husband’s apartment became a dormitory. Community — living together.
Dormitory in a dream: what to do after waking up
If you dreamed of a dormitory, act right after waking up.
Write down the dream while you remember the details. Where was the dormitory? Who was nearby? What was happening?
Recall whether there is a group of people in your life with whom you are forced to coexist. The dream may be pointing precisely to them.
Check whether the dream is warning you about the rules of behavior in this social group. If so, be careful.
Look at what other symbols were in the dream. They will show which area of life the event concerns.
Open the app. There, an algorithm analyzes all the details of the dream and shows the full picture. And there are also more than 7000 symbols that aren’t on the website.
Do you want to not just read about dreams, but to invoke them? In the app there are practices and affirmations for prophetic dreams and answers to important questions.
