What plants dream of: interpretation according to the dream book and fulfilled stories
Plants in a dream symbolize some part of your “self” that is progressively changing in a given period of life. By the appearance of the plant itself, you can determine what the changes are and to which sphere of activity they may relate.
If in the plot of your dream a plant grows or blossoms, and in itself it is useful in some sense, can bring benefit, be tasty, or bring aesthetic pleasure, the dream points to “flourishing,” achievements, love, profit. This already depends on the plant itself.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project.
Or the plant wilts, perishes, or has any negative characteristics. In this case, your dream shows that something has gone wrong in your affairs. And instead of the expected profit or joy, obstacles, sorrows, and disappointments await you.
Often plants in dreams are a symbol of time. By their appearance, characteristic of a certain season, you can understand when the dream will come true. The book “Prophetic Dreams and Lucid Dreaming” will help you understand the logic of dreams more deeply.

What different plots with plants mean
If you dream of an embryo (sprout) of a plant – a new idea, project, plan, new feelings, relationships. In the case of the plant symbol, almost always, the course of further events will depend on you, on your actions. Remember: only weeds grow by themselves.
Young sprouts, shoots – the same allegory: ideas, plans, feelings, relationships that have just received “life.” This is how you saw a potential prospect.
Sometimes in a dream you can immediately feel the upcoming result, like an expectation, a premonition of success, of good and positive changes. The sight of seeds, grains, sprouts, seedlings in dreams shows the state of these factors. Adult plants – a “well-established affair,” a realized idea, long-standing relationships.
A fruiting plant – the result of the work you have done. A medicinal plant – a symbol of healing or help. Thorny plants – a sign of resentment, vexation, vulnerability. Weeds – a symbol of obstacles or ill-wishers.
A dream that came true: seeds and new directions
A participant shared a dream. In the dream she found a seed pod in the forest, near a tall pine with a thick trunk. The pod looked like a ripe pomegranate. She decided to collect the seeds for planting. The pod had many round openings.
She brought to one of them her white, clean, porcelain oil can with a spout like a teapot’s. Seed fluid flowed out of the pod in large drops. And so several times. Then she found another seed pod of a different plant.
The principle of collecting was the same – thick, taut seed fluid. The collecting was effortless, everything flowed by itself into her oil can.
She remembers that she was comfortable living in her room. Without that damn former job. Even financial means did not constrain her.
She covered her single bed with a red patterned bedspread. Everything was clean and beautiful. It turned out that she lived in a room with a woman. The woman was businesslike, in a strict black dress, in black high-heeled shoes. In one part of the room she had a garden.
So many houseplants. Everything was arranged beautifully into a composition, in tiers, almost up to the ceiling. She walks around and waters her garden with clean water from a watering can.
Answer: she worked in two directions. The gathering was effortless – everything flowed on its own. She was comfortable without her former job. Finances did not constrain her. The red bedspread – passion, energy. The woman with the garden – her aspect that cares for her inner world.
A Dream Come True: Plants and the Workplace
A participant shared a dream. She came to the office, but the desk was turned with its back to her colleagues. This was unacceptable to her, she did not like it. Then she saw the CEO, who could not cope with a problem – his personal car had broken down, and he was asking for help.
Then her mother came with a kitten. She took the kitten in her arms. A rearrangement happened in the office. Everything became more significant to her, more colorful and richer. These were positive changes in the perception of the situation. The desk became different, beautiful, she liked it.
Answer: a plant according to the dream book, if in good condition, is connected with inner development and growth. New equipment and writing supplies – all of this is from the sphere of broad opportunities for professional fulfillment.
The old desk with trash – a hint from the subconscious that it is time to throw out negative thoughts. The plot is connected with personal perception and fears regarding the workplace.
What to Do If You Dream About Plants
If you dreamed of plants, ask yourself: what is growing in my life? What am I developing? If a plant is blooming — it means success. If it is withering — it means obstacles. If you are planting seeds — you are starting something new. If you are gathering fruits — you are getting results.

Tati, from the feeling and what I saw, he was attacking me. But I saw a rope on my friend’s neck. I didn’t feel it on myself. Probably, the friend is someone else. That is, it’s a dream about someone else’s event, and I will want to help the person.
I took my son with me to the affirmation. And today he was talking to our cat in his sleep:)) The cat, in a calm, pleasant, masculine voice, was telling him something and answering my son’s questions.) True, the child didn’t remember anything, but he’s still happy — he spent the whole day cuddling the cat.) Right before bed, I deliberately read to him from the Dream Book about talking animals, and also about walking on water, let him digest it in his sleep:)
We look at each other in silence, and I somehow beckoned her to come to me (with a nod of my head?). She glanced along her shore, took a couple of steps to the right, and walked toward me on the water, stepping in a straight line. A thought flashes through my mind: “How cool! She must be walking on an invisible ledge; I need to remember this spot.” With joyful amazement I watch her walk, at her black shoes with wide 1–2 cm heels — they seem to sink slightly into the water, but with each step the water parts to the sides, she takes the next step — the water doesn’t have time to return and close up, and her feet stay dry (as in slow motion). It seems she did come out onto the shore and ended up next to me.
