A dream that came true: the apartment from childhood and her ex’s divorce

A participant shared a dream that came true almost a year later. She is in the old apartment from her childhood. Near the dressing table, she is painting her lips with red lipstick, wearing a new white blouse and bell-bottom jeans. She likes herself, she even dances a little in front of the mirror.

A knock at the door. She opens it, her ex is standing there. He calls her into the neighbors’ apartment on the left. She follows him. He unlocks the door with a key, they go in. The apartment is cluttered; there used to be a good renovation, now everything is in decline. In the living room there is a large beautiful chandelier, it is on.

The bedroom is empty, there is no furniture, no bed, the windows are sealed with film. A woman is standing there — the wife of a drug-addict classmate, whom her husband left. The participant stands and thinks: “Why was I called here?”

Realization: a year later she learned about her ex’s divorce. The symbolism of the neighbors, who have long been divorced with scandals, the empty apartment, the chandelier, the empty bedroom without furniture — all pointed to the fact that his life had become empty. He called her to show what was left of his marriage.

The participant’s dream: crossing the road and divorce

The participant had a dream in which she was crossing the road, leaving her ex behind. The dream ended with her laughter. She correctly interpreted that cooperation was possible, everything would be within the bounds of propriety, approved by society and would have a positive effect on her career.
