A wall in a dream: what it means and what it points to
The symbol of a wall in a dream is ambivalent and can mean two different aspects. Depending on the context of your dream. It can point to reliable protection or to obstacles.
The walls of your home, or your workplace, indicate protection, and depending on how they look in the dream. And they characterize the degree of that protection and its integrity.
That is, the solid walls of a house mean solid protection and a stable state of affairs in the family (work, business). The building itself is a direct indication of the sphere of activity or part of life that the dream concerns.
If there are cracks in the walls, or holes, then something in your life may be disrupted as a result of obstacles, bad events, or any external factors.
Let me explain. Since walls are a barrier from the outside world, problems almost always point to the nature of external events. Which affect the inner life of the home (building, premises), that is, the family, well-being, financial condition.
If the building you are in has destroyed walls in a dream, then this symbol is highly negative and points to a tragic event that will entail negative consequences and foretells misfortune.
You can check all the details of the dream in the app. There are over 7,000 symbols, and each one is defined based on the analysis of thousands of dreams from the project that came true. The website does not have such a database.
A wall in the way, building walls, a trap of walls in a dream
Another aspect of this symbol points to obstacles. As a rule, these are dreams in which a wall appears in your path, or is an obstacle to achieving some goal. Or you cannot get through because of this wall and understand that it stands in your path in one sense or another.

That is, a wall in your path is an obstacle to achievement.
If you managed to overcome it in some way, then you will also overcome your obstacles in reality. By the plot of such a dream, you can determine how you will manage to perform this action in life.
The more actively you act in the dream, the better for you. If you can destroy the wall that blocked your path in the dream, then in reality no obstacles will be able to stop you, and you will achieve your goal sooner or later in any case – it will only be a matter of time.
Building walls in a dream means erecting some kind of protection for yourself in reality, that is, ensuring a safe existence for yourself and your family.
If in a dream you are hiding behind a wall, then such a dream means that you will be able to hide from pursuit or problems.
A trap made of walls may point to a dead-end situation in some matter. By the additional aspects of such a dream, you will be able to determine exactly what in life your situation will concern.
Walls of a house, wallpaper, mirrors, flowers, paintings in a dream
If in a dream you are examining the walls of your home, or what is located on them, is situated, hanging, covering them – for example, wallpaper, mirrors, flowers, paintings, and so on – such a dream says that you are constantly occupied with and thinking about improving your home and solving your family’s problems. And also the desire to create comfort, coziness, establish normal relationships, and you are interested in the question of well-being.
Climbing onto a wall, being on a wall in a dream means that, overcoming difficulties, you will achieve respect and honor among people, among your circle.
Bare walls mean poverty.
A holey wall (a wall with holes), damaged, half-destroyed – points to the instability of your position and foretells a worsening condition. Therefore, you need to do something.
If you have a lucid dreaming practice, use the affirmation “Flamingo” or “Guide”.
Holes in a wall – mean disrupted well-being, a change in your usual way of life as a result of certain unfavorable factors, events, influences.
The full picture with all the nuances is provided by our app. It contains the project’s complete dream book database, with more than 7,000 symbols that are not publicly available. We even have dreams that are not in any dream book, because these are not invented symbols, but real ones that came true.
A dream that came true about a wall and two ways to overcome it
The participant’s story: “We are walking down the street and there is, like, a wooden wall in front of us. And in order to keep going, you have to either climb up wooden steps or slide down a slide (a slide like in a water park). I look and realize that I won’t be able to climb up, it’s scary. I see people sliding down this slide, and my brother slid down, and I decided to go after him. The feeling was indescribable, I was racing downhill with the wind, it even took my breath away. In life I don’t ride them, if anything, only on a children’s one, I’m afraid of that kind of extreme. And we went on.”
Answer: a wall in any case points to some obstacle that you can get around in two ways. One of the ways to solve the problem will be the least acceptable for you, because you will feel fear before such a realization, and you will immediately refuse the first option.
However, there will be a second option for solving it, and in its characteristics it will be like what most people do, and for you it will be the most suitable. It will be a method verified by other people.
Your brother will act in exactly the same way, and when you see that the result turned out to be positive, you will repeat the same action when solving the task after your brother. And you will get pleasure from it, not to mention that you will achieve your goal.”
This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses. And more than 7000 symbols that are not publicly available.
