What a dragonfly dreams about: dream interpretation and stories that came true
A project participant dreamed of an unusual book. The illustrations were alive, drawing you into the role and showing everything in a realistic way, more colorful than in the earthly world. The animals were fantasy creatures. Among them was a dragonfly with huge eyes, as if magnified dozens of times, with rich colors and delicate wings, like a piece of jewelry art. Then there were three snakes: unreal blue, red, and yellow, as if made of precious stones. In the dream, they were helpers.
The dragonfly is associated with deception, but the participant did not choose it, even though there was a beautiful presentation. In the plot, she was on a journey. She had to cross a wide road with heavy traffic, but in the dream it was a static picture with gray shadows. It was impossible to cross the road. She took out the blue snake and placed it on the road. With its help, she was able to lead a group of people across the road.
Some time after the dream, a woman appeared in her life who behaved like a dragonfly: frivolous, without principles, outwardly bright, but short-sighted. The participant did not get involved with her. The dragonfly turned out to be a symbol of deception and frivolous relationships.
The dragonfly is an aspect of female nature that combines a frivolous “predator,” without principles, as well as an outwardly bright and short-sighted individual.
The project’s database helps to understand the details of such a dream. In our app there are more than 7,000 symbols that are not publicly available. The website only has a fragment of the dream dictionary. It also contains stories from participants whose dreams came true in reality.

A Dragonfly in a Dream: What It Means and What It Points To
The dragonfly is an aspect of female nature, combining a frivolous “predator” without principles, as well as a person who is outwardly bright but short-sighted.
Often this symbol characterizes a relationship with a frivolous person who lies not only to others but also to themselves. Because they don’t know what will happen to them tomorrow, but they can promise you “mountains of gold.”
Also, a dragonfly in dreams is a symbol of time. This is an additional, not the main, characteristic of a person and a situation. The dream comes true in the second half of summer. That is, when dragonflies actually appear.
If in your area the dragonfly begins to wake up and fly earlier, then this must be taken into account. In any case, a dragonfly is a young, reckless person. An adult woman will not appear in a dream as a dragonfly. Neither will a smart and decent woman appear in the symbolic image of a dragonfly. Or a girl.
Whether to get involved with her or not is your business. However, keep in mind that the troubles from communication can be long-lasting. Moreover, the plot of the dream often shows a sad ending. The plot of the dream and its ending must be taken into account when interpreting.
You can check all the details of the dream in the app. There are more than 7000 symbols there, and each one is defined based on analytics of thousands of dreams from the project that came true. There is no such database on the website.
