Light in a dream is the power of influence, the energy potential of higher levels. Often, precisely as a symbol, a dream means emerging from a dark period or favorable circumstances. Emitting light, glowing is the effect of power, energies. It may mean awareness, vision, understanding, manifestation before the world. Liberation from gloom, bad thoughts, and forebodings.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. Thousands of real examples from our project are collected there.
If you dreamed of a very bright white light, it means superconsciousness, intuition, a strong influence. It may relate to awareness, a moment of understanding the truth, finding a way out of a difficult situation, enlightenment, as well as help and the opening of inner reserves. In a dream, a ray of light is a concentration of power, energy, knowledge. If the ray is from the sky, it is the patronage of higher powers. The book “Prophetic Dreams and Lucid Dreaming” will help you understand the logic of dreams more deeply.
What different colors of light mean
White light means superconsciousness, intuition, enlightenment. Red light means strengthening vital energy, boosting immunity, and healing properties. Yellow light means increasing vitality and robust health. Green light means gaining power over yourself, healing for all levels.

Blue light means healing and calm, gaining spiritual strength. Purple light means superconsciousness, going beyond space and time. Moonlight means the discovery of secret knowledge, insight, or clairvoyance. A spotlight beam means drawing attention to something.
A dream come true: light hair and union
A participant shared a dream. The beloved man is sitting behind the wheel of a minibus. He is sitting to her right, with his left side, very close. But his hair was light, not dark as in life. They were riding together, shoulder to shoulder, but not touching.
Answer: whether he is offended or not, he is still with her. Light hair means good, “light” thoughts. The most “pure” symbol of union.
A dream come true: light of streetlamps and acquaintance
A participant had a dream. It is dark outside, probably evening. Streetlamps and lights are on. She sees a young handsome man. He looks at her with interest, smiles and says to others: “Hold her!” She starts walking quickly, her friend goes the other way.
Answer: these are the circumstances of meeting a man who will take an interest in her. When they meet, he will not be alone, but with other men. He will take an interest in her and will discuss with his friends how to attract her. She may not be alone, but with a friend – that is how the circumstances will unfold. At some point the friend will leave.
A dream come true: light and pursuit
A participant had a dream. She is on a tram or commuter train. She raises her head and sees the man who ordered her to be seized. He looks at her and smiles, a very beautiful smile. He is wearing a dark leather jacket. They get off the tram, it is daytime outside, he is in a white T-shirt. He walks ahead, she walks behind him.
Answer: the change of clothes indicates actions in time. The acquaintance will happen while people are still wearing jackets, and the events will begin to develop closer to summer (there he is already in a T-shirt). In life, too, she will follow him.
A dream come true: a woman with a submachine gun and light-colored dogs
The participant had a dream. To the right of the road, a woman with a rifle. Nearby, people are squatting with their heads down and hands behind their backs. He approaches and sits down the same way. She crouches behind him and says: “Just don’t leave me, just don’t leave me, I’m scared.” He stands up and walks forward, she follows him.
Answer: the woman on the road is a real person who will be an obstacle to the relationship. The rifle is aggression on her part. The relationship will have to be hidden from this woman. He will demonstrate submission in order to preserve the relationship with her.
Then a pack of dogs jumps out from around the corner, no fewer than 5, of the same breed, large, light-colored. They begin to lunge, he drives them off.
Answer: the dogs are his or her acquaintances who will speak out against their communication. He will stand up for her.
A dream that came true: a light-colored car and a cat
The participant had a dream. A light-colored car drives up, two men with rifles jump out of it. A small gray kitten appears in front of her. They demand she give up the cat. She says: “I will never give it up, because I love it very much.” The kidnapper says: “Get in the car, quick!”
Answer: the man will begin to distance himself from his friends because of meetings with her, and they will be displeased. They may poke fun at his feelings so that he takes the “side of the men.” But he will decide to distance himself even more in order to communicate with her.
What to do if you dream of light
If you dream of light, pay attention to its color. White – for enlightenment. Red – for energy. Yellow – for health. Green – for healing. Blue – for calm. If the light is from the sky – for protection. If it is a spotlight beam – something is drawing your attention.

Hello! For the first time, I had such a realistic and impressive dream! It was a color dream, and it occurred on Thursday closer to 03:25 in the morning. I won’t retell the entire dream, since it was specifically the ending that impressed me.
Several people are next to me. But I am fascinatedly looking at the sky; it looks like nighttime, but it is only now daytime, and in the sky the stars are clearly visible, light cumulus clouds, and in the middle a huge luminary, it seems to be the moon. At some point, they realize that across the whole sky a colored glow with shimmering is intensifying, similar to the northern lights.
And then, the moon becomes very large and begins to rotate around its axis, faster and faster! The spectacle is mesmerizing! I finally understood that next to me, besides the others, was my mom and that now this planet/luminary, spun up to an unthinkable speed, will explode! I warn everyone to at least cover their eyes, but they simply look at the sky with their heads thrown back and wave off the warning. A soundless explosion occurs! Everything around is flooded with heavenly light, at first very bright and almost white, then it becomes blue. At that time I cover my head and eyes with a pillow (here I realize that while everyone was standing, I was sitting on the floor behind everyone).
After a short time, I carefully open my eyes and look only at the edge of the pillow that is visible to me; blue light is pouring, and my vision becomes even clearer than before. (Somewhere at the edge of consciousness I understand that everything is fine with the others…) and I wake up.
Please help decipher the dream! Thanks in advance!

Help me understand two dreams. Two months ago I had a dream that I was pregnant, a child (a boy) was kicking in my belly, and an unusual violet-purple glow was coming from my belly and illuminating everything around, next to me on the right my deceased father was supporting me. The second dream happened a few days ago. I am in my apartment and notice an unusual celestial phenomenon outside the window, I move to another room, open the window and see fireworks of unearthly origin in a violet-purple color and the image of a yellow dog; by the feeling, the fireworks were intended for me. My emotions in both dreams were the same, indescribable delight; I have never felt such sensations in life. Thank you if you can help me understand what such dreams mean and what to expect.
Such a dream, or rather dreams, can be true harbingers of pregnancy and specifically of a boy.
Thanks for the answer! Alas, but that is out of the question.
I’m having a dream. I know for sure that this is the border, or rather a customs checkpoint between Ukraine and Russia. I’m standing at the customs checkpoint on the Ukrainian side: everywhere is mud (my shoes are all muddy), trash, some little wagons around where border guards live, dampness, grayness, the weather is nasty (rain, gray sky), there are some papers lying around, plastic bottles scattered. In a word, a nightmare. The Ukrainian customs checkpoint is separated from Russia by a huge concrete wall, with barbed wire on top, towers on the wall, and along the entire perimeter huge searchlights are pointed toward Russian territory. I approach this wall (the crossing point), and there’s a narrow door, and a Ukrainian border guard says to me: “If you cross this border now, there will be NO going back for you EVER.” I hesitate for a second or two, look back, realizing that behind me my relatives remain forever, but still I cross the border. And suddenly – sun, clear warm weather, neat pedestrian paths, bright green lawns. And it’s so easy to breathe, I feel so calm. And I hear, as it were, a voice: “Well, that’s it, it’s all over.” I woke up. Possibly the dream was inspired by all the events happening, since I myself am a resident of Donbas. I hope the dream is a good one and, as they say, will come true.
The dream is indeed good for you. But it would be nice to figure out what will cause the changes. At first glance (if you described everything accurately), these changes will be caused by your “crossing the border.” There could be various scenarios, for example: you will “go over to Russia’s side” – either directly or indirectly. I can’t say for sure, since I don’t know your circumstances. Therefore, I leave it to you to interpret. The allegory is “to cross over to the other side,” “to cross the border.” Another option is to leave your native places. Since in the dream you almost immediately made a decision and saw the result of your actions, you will not have any particular dilemma or forced choice among options with unknown outcomes. When the time comes, you will quickly decide for yourself and do what’s right (as the dream showed). It’s a good dream for you.
I want to share a dream about the joint affirmation “Happiness exists” for 27.09.15 (although internet access was irregular and I saw the additional setting only in the morning).
I dreamed of light – white, similar to moonlight. That is all I saw. Around me (specifically around) fragments of my thoughts from various periods were flying, and I heard some of them. I felt the thoughts almost without emotion – both bad and good. I felt only confidence and calm, without trifling worries and such. The feeling from the dream is positive, though unusual (I am a pronounced choleric, far from a state of Zen).
I woke up several times, perplexed as to where the picture was, when the action would happen, but I fell asleep and again saw this light. The dream was sort of semi-lucid, if I may put it that way. I understand that it is a dream and from time to time “remember” that I can control reality.
By the way, for the first time the light specifically in the sense of some goal appeared in a dream about 5 years ago. A very small window in the darkness (the size of a walnut). Then two more times, a bit closer. Since I appeared on the site in June of this year, the light has appeared in dreams three times, twice – for “Happiness exists!”, and the last time it was a door and light behind it, I was heading there myself and called a friend’s dog there. And now it is very close, and I am in it.
I decided to reread Kehoe and Castaneda; I think we will meet soon in lucid dreams 🙂
