A dream that came true about power and a change of leadership

This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses.

A participant’s story:

I found myself at work in a dream. Suddenly I realized that my bag was missing. I started looking for it.

I went through many floors of our office in search. Around me were people busy with their own affairs, and no one paid any attention to me. I could not find the bag, but I kept searching.

In the end, after going down to the first floor, where our department is located, I saw my bag in the corner of the reception desk. It turned out that it had always been there, and it had simply been forgotten.

It was a very fashionable and expensive designer bag, which in reality I did not have, but in the dream it belonged to me. I took it and carried it to my office.

How this dream came true:

After six months of unemployment after having to leave my previous job because of treatment, on May 28, 2018, I started a new job.

Already on June 1, all of us were gathered by the boss, who announced that drastic changes had taken place, and the company had been acquired by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.

That same day, a new team of managers from the bank started work, and all members of the previous Board of Directors were dismissed starting from that day.

Everyone was shocked: each understood the consequences, the possible cutbacks and layoffs. And that fate awaited those who had arrived last, and I had arrived only two days earlier; everything became clear as day.

I went to the HR department with a request to the head not to make an entry in my employment record book for now, but Lena, the head of HR, reassured me: “Don’t worry, the entry has already been made.

Let’s see what happens next. When there’s a change of leadership on the upper floors, there’s always a struggle for control.

In the end, the one with the stronger nerves will win. Try to stay in your position for now and don’t attract unnecessary attention. At least you’ll earn some money.”

Given my financial situation after six months of treatment and unemployment, it was quite difficult, but I decided to stay at work. Morally, I was not yet ready to start looking for a new job.

And then an open struggle began between the old and new leadership, a battle to the last. And somehow everyone forgot about me. Lena also skillfully did not remind anyone of my presence.

By mid-summer, the conflict was resolved in favor of the new leadership after significant layoffs of the predecessor team.

In August, everyone realized the need to replace the dismissed staff and remembered me; on August 31, I received congratulations on successfully completing my probationary period.

Well, I have long noticed one strange fact: if you were robbed in a dream and you lost your bag, you must certainly find it for the successful resolution of this whole situation; this has already become established in me intuitively on a subconscious level.

People were busy with something other than work, that’s true; both sides of the conflict were recklessly fighting for their dominance, power.

It was as if I had been crossed off the list, yes, everyone really did spontaneously forget about me.

The bag was found with all its contents intact and undamaged; also, at the first rays of morning came the realization: everything will be fine with the job, I’ll get lucky!

The dream showed power as a symbol of influence and submission. The missing bag reflected the narrator’s position. And the struggle of the management showed a real battle for power.

The power in the dream came true: a change of management occurred, and the narrator kept her job. The dream warned about the struggle for power and that she would survive it.
