A train station in a dream is always a symbol of change. Changes connected specifically with the road, relocations, travels, business trips, journeys. The events will be connected with a real road, with movement somewhere.
If in a dream you look at the train station from the outside, the dream may mean a desire for such changes. You want to change your life, but for now you don’t dare to.
Being at a train station in a dream is an opportunity for change. If there are no obstacles or negative symbols, the changes will happen. Being at a train station means that in reality you are ready for or desire change. Or you will be forced to go somewhere.
In dreams it is clearly visible who is leaving, and who is seeing them off and staying. Who is arriving, and who is meeting them. The same will happen in reality.
What different plots with a train station mean
Arriving at a train station is a desire and an opportunity to bring about significant changes.
Meeting someone at a train station means a person will enter your life because of whom much will change.
Leaving from a train station means bringing about changes.
A bus station means the changes depend on the dreamer or the characters of the dream. You yourself control your life.
A railway station means the changes will be substantial. Almost nothing will depend on the actions of the dreamer. This is a more serious, global symbol.
Driving to a train station is an indication that you will be planning trips. For now only planning. This is a desire for change, but for now not their realization.
A dream that came true: a train station, a stolen bag and an ex-husband
One of the project participants was doing an affirmation. She dreamed about a train station three nights in a row.
Night 1. I’m at a train station. In my hands I have a beautiful blue handbag. I put my passport, birth certificate, and money into it — 7,000 rubles. In the dream I know that someone has repaid a debt to me.
My mom comes up to me, hugs me, cries, apologizes, and leads me away with her. I think about taking the bag with me, but I think — mom won’t deceive me, I’ll be back quickly. I leave it. It’s a clear, sunny day.
With mom, I never actually got anywhere. I came back — my bag had been stolen. I’m very upset. Mom comes again, I tell her about the theft. She nods, but I can see she doesn’t care. In place of my bag — a large number of cleaning products and wet wipes. I don’t need them.
Night 2. At the same train station I see my ex-husband. He’s stripped to the waist, in gray lounge pants. He has the eyes of the man I love. We kiss, then sex. After that I notice that the man’s gaze changes. I call him by my ex-husband’s name, and he responds.
I realize he has deceived me again. I say to him: “So it was you!” And he, as if it were a matter of course: “Yes, it’s me.” I’m angry, but I quickly pull myself together. We discuss something with him, calmly, without shouting. I have the thought that he has once again “fed off” me.
Night 3. In the same place, at the train station, I find my passport and birth certificate. I’m glad that I won’t have to restore documents and prove that I am me. But the bag and the money were never found.
Analysis of this dream
A train station in these dreams means readiness for change. The dreamer was ready for changes, but something went wrong. A small bag represents personal life. Documents represent self-identity. Everything being packed into the bag is a positive symbol. But mother leads her away from changes, distracts her.
Stolen things mean loss of material possessions, the collapse of plans, troubles. Cleaning products mean the need to “wash” one’s reputation, to put one’s affairs in order. The ex-husband in a dream: he appears in the image of a beloved man, but deceives. This shows that old ties can mask themselves as something new and good. Finding documents is a positive sign. Good news, positive consequences. But the bag and money were not found: a lingering aftertaste will remain.
Real-life realization
The dreamer was going through a difficult period. The dream at the train station showed that she was preparing for changes. But there are distracting factors (mother), there are old ties (ex-husband) that pull her back. The stolen bag means the loss of material things and plans.
But the documents were found: self-identity remained, she did not lose herself. Cleaning products mean that affairs need to be put in order. Washing one’s reputation, sorting out what has accumulated.
A dream that came true: train station, a trip to Poland and being late
The dreamer was preparing for a trip to Poland. She needed to cross the border and come back. Getting to Brest, from there to Terespol and back. With many transfers. She was very worried.
Dream: I am in the Netherlands, looking at the houses around me, peering into the windows, watching how people live there, I like everything, everything is interesting, everything is different, not like here. I am at a cafe table, but there are no walls, I can see the street, a very pleasant atmosphere, it is getting dark, lights are on everywhere, the lighting is very soft and beautiful.
The owner of the cafe comes up to me, looks like an Italian, dressed in black, I order something, but it confuses him. Suddenly two unfamiliar guys sit down next to me, one on the left, the other on the right, strangers, also completely dressed in black, I don’t like them, they’re arrogant and brash, kind of slippery.
They place an order, eat everything and run away, leaving me alone, and it turns out I now have to pay for both my order and theirs, I’m in a panic, thinking that’s it, I hope I have enough money! I ask how much I owe, and get the answer that it’s a little less than 10 euros. I breathe a sigh of relief, I have about 50 euros, it should be enough for everything, but I feel very unpleasant.
Realization
The dream came true yesterday. The participant got to Terespol without any adventures. Upon arrival she saw houses with windows exactly like in the dream. She came out at the station and immediately bought a return ticket, took a walk around the city, the weather was wonderful.
She went into the station building and sat down to have a snack while waiting for the train. The train was arriving at 9:31 and departing at 9:36. At 9:25 she got up and went to the indicated platform, but there is no exit to it through the tunnel, it’s closed. She missed the train.
While she was walking back and forth, it was already 9:30 on the clock. She’s in a panic, the train is about to leave. She runs to another platform. And there stands a train and a customs officer meets her. She asks where platform 3 is. And he speaks in Polish. She understands almost nothing, she only understands – you missed that train.
She looks at the clock – 9:32, well, there are still 4 minutes left. He explains once again, it turns out you had to come 15 minutes before the train’s arrival and go through customs control, that’s why the gates are already closed.
She had to go buy a ticket for another train (according to the dream — pay again, and for two people). The ticket for it was twice as expensive as the first one, and cost a little less than 10 euros. And she had spent almost all of her Polish money. Good thing she still had dollars. She almost missed the second train too, but the customs officer waited for her.
So much for the dream. The café owner in black — the customs officer. The two guys in black — unexpected expenses. The amount of a little less than 10 euros — the cost of the new ticket.
A dream about a bus and money that came true
A participant told a dream about a bus and money.
Dream: I’m getting off the bus, counting change in my palm. Supposedly I already gave 10 rubles for the fare, which costs 15, and now I’m trying to gather another 5. I count the coins in my palm — not enough. And it seems the driver lets me off: give whatever you have.
And a woman who had already gotten off the bus, supposedly an acquaintance of mine who had been riding in it with me, says, like, let me give it. And I say — no! 15 is 15, I’ll pay! And, lo and behold, in my palm I finally notice a 5-ruble coin. I happily hand it over and get off the bus.
Fulfillment
The dream came true. The fare turned out to be the sum that the participant received literally within a few days from different sources (only in thousands). The 10 rubles in the dream she didn’t see, she only knew that she had paid. In reality, she received 10 thousand via online banking.
And with the coins it turned out funny. She both counted them and examined them. In life, she very persistently waited for exactly that sum — 5 thousand. And sure enough! That’s exactly how it turned out. Unexpectedly, but at her insistence, her son repaid a debt to her.
It turned out that the cash she paid with – she received as physical money, and the money she simply knew about – as virtual. After paying, she got off the bus – in reality, she solved the problem.
Interpretation
A bus in a dream symbolizes problematic situations in society. Counting small change – experiencing need. Giving money, paying – for luck and settling old accounts.
Another dream about a bus and helping a friend
A participant recounted a dream: she was riding a bus; besides her, on it were her old friend, a wealthy man, his wife, and children. The wife and children were not real.
The friend and his wife were sitting in different seats. The girl immediately ran off ahead, the boy was disabled. I felt sorry for him and helped him. In the dream I knew where we were going, and the route was along a straight central street to the bus station.
But suddenly the bus turned and started driving along some little streets that I didn’t know, but overall I understood that we would still arrive at the station. The bus stopped on an empty lot, and I started to get out through the windshield.
But the driver stopped me and demanded payment. There was a chain of remarks, during which I concluded that for two people (me and the son) it wasn’t expensive; a taxi would have cost the same.
I wondered how I would get there now, saw a wide road, and thought: this road goes to Ensk. And I climbed out through the window, having given the money from my purse, where there were quite a lot of bills.
Fulfillment
The dream came true within a few weeks. The participant was asked to help a wealthy man with the aftermath of a divorce. There were no longer any relations between them, but the financial disputes remained. The friend was the prototype of the wealthy man, generous and loving his children.
At first she helped simply with advice and finding a lawyer – she helped the boy. For some period this matter took a central place in her life’s movement. These really were changes, and a return to an activity she no longer engaged in. The bus route was familiar to her – the subtleties of these disputes.
A dream about a train station and ice cream
The participant told a dream: I walk near the train station, talking on the phone with someone about bread, bought ice cream and eat ice cream during the conversation.
Realization
A couple of days later a former girlfriend showed up, they talked about her affairs at work. The participant showed coldness in the relationship. The cold was purely on her side, she did not go toward getting closer. Ice cream – cold, cold in relationships. Train station – changes in relationships.
What to do if you dream of a train station
If you dream of a train station, pay attention to the details. Are you arriving or leaving? Is someone seeing you off or meeting you? What is the weather? What emotions do you feel?
A train station is a symbol of change. Ask yourself: am I ready for change? What is holding me back? Who or what is preventing me from moving forward?
