Dream Book Magic: What Magic in a Dream Means and Stories That Came True

Magic in a dream is an opportunity in reality to accomplish something that seemed beyond your strength. To take control of the situation. Dreams in which you see yourself as a wizard or encounter magic almost always speak of your hidden abilities. That you can do far more than you think.

Many people are frightened by such dreams, considering them “just fantasies.” But in reality, the subconscious does not waste time on empty images. If you dreamed of magic, it means that in reality you have powers and opportunities that you are not using. The dream shows them to you so that you begin to act.

What Magic in a Dream Means

To be a wizard in a dream means to control events or to wish to do so. If, in addition to being aware that you or someone else is a wizard, you also dreamed that you perform certain manipulations or actions and get a result according to the plot of the dream, then in reality too you can count on fulfillment and results.

Magic in a dream is a superpower and superabilities. What is meant here are abilities and opportunities greater than what you yourself expected and counted on. If in a dream you do what seems impossible in reality, it means that in life you will be able to cope with what seems insurmountable.

Important: magic in a dream does not mean that you will start flying or reading minds. It means that you will discover abilities in yourself that you did not suspect. You will find an unconventional solution to a problem. You will do what previously seemed impossible.

A Magic Wand and a Bus: A Dream That Came True

The story of a participant:

I received a magic wand as a gift, after which I immediately got on a bus and rode off. I didn’t see the wand itself, but I knew for certain that I had it. I saw the bus from the outside, as it pulled away, an ordinary scheduled bus. The last dream – I ate a soft-boiled egg. I saw it cut open – white white and orange yolk.

Realization

The participant found herself in a situation with a group of people (the bus). She couldn’t control the situation, but she had a magic wand – that is, the ability to influence what was happening. A magic wand in a dream is her inner strength, which helped her cope with the situation.

A soft-boiled egg – real achievements. Eating an egg – getting pleasure from the result. The participant really did cope with the situation and received satisfaction.

What the symbols mean

A magic wand – your inner strength, the ability to influence the situation. A bus – a situation with a group of people. A soft-boiled egg – a real achievable result, pleasure from it.

The dragon and the magic school: a dream about power

The participant’s story:

The dragon looked like in movies, at Chinese holidays. It flew with its jaws open, its facial expression – as if it was amused by this. At the same time it was alive – its body was solid, and its tail turned into a black smoky substance. Everything it caught up with, it scorched with fire, everything beneath it burned and died. I realized that I needed to outrun the dragon – it was the only chance to survive.

Today’s dream: I was with two guys at school, it felt like Hogwarts, magical. I dream about it more than once. I ran to look for the library – I always like it there.

Interpretation

A dream about a dragon is not a scary story. It is a dream about power. The dragon symbolizes the might that the dreamer was supposed to overcome or use. The fact that she realized she needed to “outpace the dragon” means she is ready to act.

The magic school (Hogwarts) appears in her dreams more than once – it is a symbol of her inner development, learning, the search for knowledge. The library – the search for information, knowledge that will help her in reality.

What the symbols mean

The dragon – your inner strength, the might that needs to be tamed. Fire – transformation, purification. The magic school – a place of learning, development. The library – knowledge, information that you need.

Magic as control over a situation

If you dream that you are controlling events with the help of magic, it means that in reality you will be able to take the situation under control. You will find a way to influence what seems uncontrollable.

If you dream that someone else is using magic, pay attention to who that person is. Perhaps they possess a power that you do not notice. Or it is your inner “wizard” whom you are not allowing to manifest.

If you see magical objects – a wand, a spell book, a potion – these are symbols of the tools that you have in reality. You already possess what you need. All that remains is to understand how to use it.

How to distinguish a prophetic dream about magic from an ordinary one

Prophetic dreams about magic have several distinguishing features:

They are vivid and colorful. You remember the details — colors, sounds, sensations. You feel confident in your actions. After waking up, a feeling of strength remains. The symbols of the dream are simple and understandable, even if the plot is fantastical. In reality, you begin to notice that new opportunities are appearing for you.

If your dream matches these signs, it is most likely prophetic. Your subconscious is showing you that you can do more than you think.

Magic and affirmations: how it works

Dreams about magic often come to those who work with affirmations. An affirmation is not just repetition of words. It is work with the subconscious on a subtle level. When you read an affirmation, you create sound vibrations that help you enter the needed state.

If you do the affirmation correctly, you enter into resonance with its words. This is what “magic” is — the ability to change your reality through working with the subconscious. Dreams about magic show that this work is going correctly.

What to do if you dreamed about magic

If you dreamed about magic, do not dismiss it. It is a good sign. Your subconscious is telling you about your power.

Pay attention to what you were doing in the dream. If you were controlling events, in reality you will be able to take the situation under control. If you saw magical objects, you have tools that will help you. If you were studying in a magic school, you are on the right path of development.

Write down the dream. Think about which area of life you need strength in. Look for ways to manifest it.
