Winter in dreams can indicate emotional coldness, stagnation in affairs, depression, the monotony of life, as well as financial condition. So, if you saw in your dream a beautiful snowy sunny winter and there were symbols such as a beautiful rich house, a good mood, bright sun, fir trees, pine trees, sparkling snow, then your dream will indicate financial well-being.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project.
If in your dream there was a feeling of loneliness, unsettledness, then in life too a dream about winter will indicate a feeling of loneliness, unsettledness in your personal life, cold relationships, if you felt cold. Be sure to unravel such a dream to the end, taking into account all the symbols of the dream. The book “Prophetic Dreams and Lucid Dreaming” will help you understand the logic of dreams more deeply.
Pay special attention to dreams in which you were with some person who matters to you, and at the same time you felt cold. In exactly the same way, in life you will have cold relationships. Or you will feel lonely, despite the presence of this person next to you.
Any negative symbols in dreams about winter indicate depression, boredom, monotony, emotional turmoil. A feeling that nothing is moving in life, and in affairs there is a hopeless streak of failures. In general, the symbolism of time can be indicated by the season, the time of day, as well as a specific reference to dates. In dreams, digits and numbers are “visible.”
If, for example, a season is a certain period of life. The main characteristic of the symbols of winter, summer, spring and autumn is the “feeling of a person in that period of their life.” With all the accompanying components: well-being, achievement, activity or passivity of actions.
All emotions, the state of mind, the time of day — this is a direct indication of the time of life relative to birth, maturity, aging and death, as well as the “state” of the period of the event. That is, its beginning, development, progress and end.
Winter in dreams often indicates not only the literal season, but also an age period of a person’s life — the “winter of life.” If you dream of winter when you are young, it may be a warning that you feel older than your years or that your emotions are “frozen.” If winter is dreamed of in adulthood, it is often associated with summing up results, completing cycles.
What different plots with winter mean
A beautiful sunny winter with sparkling snow — to financial well-being. A cold, gloomy winter with a feeling of loneliness — to cold relationships, unsettledness. Snow in a dream — to changes. A snow-covered house — to one’s own home, comfort. A winter road — to a difficult path.
Losing a key in winter — to losing connection with a person. Grandfather gives bread in winter — to help in a difficult situation. Bullfinches in winter — to love news. Walking barefoot in the snow — to vulnerability, defenselessness. A winter forest — to solitude, search for oneself. A snowfall — to problems being buried, oblivion. A thaw in winter — to softening of relationships, emergence from a crisis.
A dream that came true: a snow-covered little house and apartment
A participant shared a dream. After the wedding, her mother gave her two figurines. One was a “family” with children, a dad and a mom, as a sign that their family would also be strong. And the second was a “snow-covered house” — so that she would have her own cozy home. Five years later, the “dad” figurine’s head broke off, and in that same period their wedding cassette tape tore, precisely at the place where they were signing the register.
Divorce. And another 10 years later she bought an apartment — this happened in winter, just like in the projection of the snow-covered little house. The dream showed that there would be a home, but the family would fall apart.
A dream that came true: doves, winter and death
A participant shared a dream. She and her husband were driving through a small settlement. Suddenly, from the side, a flock of doves decided to take off, and two doves hit the windshield. One fell, the other flew on. About three hours later, she was told that a coworker had been in a car accident and was now in a coma after trepanation.
Then, that her cousin was going in for surgery. After 18 days, the cousin died from bleeding, and the coworker came out of the coma a month later. In winter, she dreamed that broken church bells were lying on the road. She fell ill in spring. It was a warning. Doves are messengers: one fell (death), the other flew on (survived).
A dream that came true: winter and relationships
A participant shared a dream. She is walking through a winter city, late for somewhere. A bus stops, two young guys offer her a ride. One of them gives her a ticket for the commuter train. She arrives at an enterprise. She sees her former man; he is at work. She sits down at a table, he sits down next to her, and they are glad to see each other.
She takes a piece of paper and writes TEST, but with a mistake – TESPT, to check him. He reads it, asks what this word is. She says: “Guess.” He starts writing something. She takes out a mandarin, and inside it is all black, rotten, and a bunch of ants spills out of it.
Then she takes out a box of raspberries and starts eating. Then she runs off to get a broom to sweep away the ants. She returns, but he is gone, and those two guys are sitting at the table.
Answer: she saw the purpose of the relationship. Most likely, karmically she was in the role of a teacher for him. The meeting place was a work setting. The cold of winter pushed her toward interest in the man because of a lack of emotional warmth. From her side, the message was to test him with some kind of “test.” The expectations were not met – the black rotten mandarin. Switching the mandarin for raspberries is an attempt to distance herself from unmet expectations. She understood his problem and sympathized with him.
A dream that came true: bullfinches and love news
A participant shared a dream. A clear winter day. A flock of bullfinches, about 20 of them, is sitting in a tree. She stands and watches. Suddenly the whole flock soared into the air and flew toward her. The birds swarmed over her: they landed on her head, shoulders, hands, face. She smiled and stood there with her eyes shut. Only positive emotions from the dream.
Answer: birds in dreams are always harbingers of news. The red breast of the bullfinch points to bright emotional news concerning the heart and soul. Bullfinches are winter birds, which means the events will be wintry. The day was clear – the event will evoke good emotions. A flock of birds – many pieces of news that will evoke many positive emotions and will touch on different aspects of relationships. A flock of bullfinches points to a meeting with a person, maybe even a declaration of love.
A dream that came true: grandfather, bread and winter
A participant shared a dream. A long-dead grandfather gave her a loaf of black bread in the dream, and it was even stale. She was walking through the snow and dragging a laptop on herself. It came true: things with work were not great. Winter in the dream and in winter came true. In the dream she understood that he was dead. Grandfather gave her bread – help, but stale – a difficult situation. Snow and a laptop – a burden on the path. The work turned out to be unsuccessful.
A dream that came true: losing a key in winter
A participant shared a dream. There was a man. Before the breakup, she saw winter, dark, and she and he lost a key. Then she understood that they had lost their connection, it was all over. That is how it turned out. Winter and darkness – cold and the end of the relationship. Losing the key – losing access to the person. The dream came true completely.
A dream that came true: pink Uggs and handing over a man
A participant shared a dream. In summer she dreamed that she was sitting on the right in an apartment building entrance and giving new pink Uggs to another girl, and with pleasure. Winter came, they wanted to introduce her to a man – this “on the right” happened, but she decided to hand him over into other hands. The dream came true. Pink Uggs – a symbol of a new acquaintance. She gave them away with pleasure – she did not want this man.
