What a dream about an umbrella means: dream interpretation and stories that came true
A project participant dreamed about Victoria Sokolova. She is placing her large seal or stamp on a contract. The contract is on paper, standard A4 format. The stamp is huge, almost the entire page, on the first page.
Victoria tells the participant to put the stamp on the second copy of the contract. Only so that it is just as even as hers, with the lines matching. The participant takes a ruler and begins measuring the indentation, drawing horizontal lines with a pencil on the second copy.
She clearly remembers the centimeters, but did not remember the numbers on the ruler. She never placed the stamp in the dream. There was an understanding that the contract was with the ambassador of Sweden, with the Vatican. And that those who signed the contract end up “under the umbrella” – this is the allegory of the dream.
Some time after the dream, the participant received a job offer on the project. The conditions were harsh, but she agreed. The umbrella turned out to be a symbol of protection for those on the project.
Walking under an umbrella in a dream means that despite unfavorable circumstances, you are moving toward your goal and the fulfillment of what you have planned.
The project’s database helps make sense of the details of such a dream. In our app there are more than 7,000 symbols that are not available in the public domain. The website only has a fragment of the dream dictionary. It also contains stories from participants whose dreams came true in reality.
Umbrella in a dream: what it means and what it points to
Walking under an umbrella in a dream means that despite unfavorable circumstances, you are moving toward your goal and the fulfillment of what you have planned.
Choosing an umbrella in a dream, firstly, indicates that you can “get around” difficulties in not just one, but several ways, and secondly, that you will have the opportunity to avoid troubles and obstacles.
A broken or lost umbrella is a sign of defenselessness in the face of adversity and life’s twists and turns.
Buying a new umbrella in a dream or receiving one as a gift is a symbol of changes that will lead to success. Whoever is near you in such a dream — whether they buy an umbrella for you or offer you one, or walk under it with you, hiding from the rain — that person can be trusted, and you can see your endeavor through to the end with them.

Firstly, they themselves will be protection and a helper for you, and secondly, they will not abandon you in a difficult moment, but will be by your side.
A black umbrella — often indicates protection from envy, revenge, and persecution.
A white umbrella — as an additional aspect of the symbol. It indicates a period of tension and anxiety due to difficulties that have arisen, despite the fact that the person under the umbrella, or the one who will use it, is protected.
You can check all the details of a dream in the app>. There are more than 7,000 symbols, and each one is determined based on analytics from thousands of dreams from the project that came true. The website doesn’t have such a database.
A dream about an umbrella and a contract that came true
A participant’s story: “I dreamed of Victoria Sokolova. Yes, she herself just as she is. I see her placing her large seal or large stamp on a contract. The contract is on paper, standard A4 format. And the stamp is huge, almost the size of the whole page on the first sheet.
And then Victoria tells me to put a stamp on the 2nd copy of the contract. But also so that it’s just as even as hers, so that the lines in the contract on which the stamp or seal will be placed match up. The lines of the contract and the lines of the stamp need to match up precisely.
I take a ruler and start measuring on her copy, the first copy of the contract, on which she herself put her stamp. The offset, and with a pencil on the 2nd copy I draw horizontal lines: one under the other with a small offset.
To do the same as Victoria did on the first copy of the contract. I clearly remember the centimeters that I measured on the first copy of the contract. But I didn’t remember the numbers on the ruler, although I saw them clearly. But in the dream I never did put the stamp.
In the dream there was an understanding that the contract was with the ambassador of Sweden, with the Vatican. I know that those who signed the contract end up “under the umbrella” – and this is a kind of allegory of the dream.”
This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true has been collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses. And more than 7000 symbols that are not publicly available.
An umbrella in a dream: what to do after waking up
Did you dream about an umbrella? First, record the details. It is they that determine the meaning.
Write down what you were doing. Walking under an umbrella, choosing one, buying one, receiving one as a gift, losing one? Walking under an umbrella – toward movement toward a goal despite circumstances. Choosing – toward the opportunity to bypass difficulties. Buying or receiving as a gift – toward changes and success. Broken or lost – toward vulnerability.
Remember the color of the umbrella. Black — for protection from envy, revenge, and persecution. White — for a period of tension and worries, but with protection. Colored — for joyful changes.
Pay attention to who was nearby. The person who offered the umbrella or walked under it with you is a reliable helper and protector.
Look at what you felt. Calmness and confidence — for protection. Anxiety — for worries.
You can check the full interpretation in the app. The algorithm takes into account all the details of the dream and shows a complete picture. It also has more than 7,000 symbols that you won’t find on the website.
And if you want not just to read about dreams, but to induce them, the app has practices and affirmations. They help you receive prophetic dreams and answers to important questions.

Interesting… what if a man offers me a pink umbrella, and I don’t take it because I have my own, a black one… and I walk with my own umbrella in the rain?
Lyubov, hello, you are refusing his protection since you have your own. Move to the Blogs for discussion.
Thank you
Thank you very much ) And I’m married, and this guy I know, I don’t have a relationship with him. What do you say about that?
Based on the dream you described above, I understood that this is your boyfriend. If this is not your boyfriend and especially if you are married, then the meaning of the dream, of course, changes. This guy is a reliable friend, protector, and helper for you. He can be relied upon. The sister chose the red umbrella because she has feelings for him.
It was very important to know the true circumstances of your life. Please describe your dreams in as much detail as possible and with explanations. Thank you!
All the umbrellas were open
Hello, Dasha! The umbrella from your dream is protection! Your boyfriend gave you 3 umbrellas. One is meant for you, another for your sister, and the third for your parents. Most likely, you and your boyfriend started your relationship not so long ago. The pink umbrella with little flowers, I assume, represents the “candy-bouquet” period. The umbrellas in the dream are open, which means that all the characters involved in the situation have their natural defenses activated. It’s a pity you don’t remember the color of your parents’ umbrella. That could have clarified your parents’ attitude toward your boyfriend. But your sister has negative feelings toward him. The red umbrella is a symbol of her aggression and, consequently, an open umbrella is a symbol of a fairly aggressive stance toward him. Your surprise that she took the wrong umbrella reflects your direct feelings in life. You don’t understand why she treats him that way. I hope I was able to help you. I wish you good luck!
What could it mean when a guy sends 3 umbrellas as a gift, one red, another pink, the third I somehow didn’t see. My sister gives me the pink umbrella with little flowers, and I thought the red one was for me. But she kept it for herself. We were at our parents’ house.
