A necklace in a dream symbolizes a union, relationships, obligations, and in a certain sense, dependence.
In this article I will explain what a necklace means in a dream, what a gold, pearl, or woven necklace means, and also what it means to tear, lose, or receive a necklace as a gift. At the end I will give real dreams that came true and show how the symbol manifested in life.
If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project, a complete database of dreams that came true, and more than 7000 symbols with interpretations that are not publicly available.
What a necklace means in a dream: the main symbol
A necklace in a dream symbolizes a union, relationships, obligations, and in a certain sense, dependence.
A gold necklace in a dream foretells future happiness. The more beautiful and rich it is, the more joyful and happy the events of your life will be. It also points to a certain status of the owner of the necklace, honors and respect because of position.
If someone gives you a necklace in a dream, the dream points to that person’s loyalty and love, and if they put it on you or fasten it, in the very near future you will receive a proposal, the dream means a wedding, marriage.
If in a dream the necklace for some reason breaks, tears, or is lost, the dream means divorce or the end of a relationship.
A pearl necklace is a sign of happy love and loyalty, and of a future long union.

A dream that came true about a necklace: a military medallion and a necklace made of sand
This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or disprove your guesses.
The participant’s story:
Good day to everyone. A dream without affirmation. I am in an unknown area and house. It feels like some warm country. Beautiful nature, a beautiful house. The house feels like mine. I am writing a book on the computer. A book about me, about my life, about relationships.
I don’t remember now what was in it. I walk around the house in denim shorts and bare-chested. I feel comfortable. My friend appears and reads my book.
She says: What kind of book is this? So interesting! I answer her something, but hide the fact that I wrote it. In life I don’t write books, but in the dream I performed like a poet. Then I realize that my loved one is getting ready to leave.
I leave the house, my husband walks with me. We see that he is standing by the car and is about to leave this place. I don’t say anything to him, but I don’t want him to leave.
I’m walking toward some body of water. I approach the shore and find a pearl necklace under my feet. The shore is made of fine sand, it’s wet. I pull the necklace out of this sand. It’s beautiful, flawless, on a gold-colored chain, covered in pearls.
It doesn’t feel like precious metal, but it’s expensive costume jewelry. I take it for myself. Then I see another chain there in the sand, a little to the left under my feet. I pull it out of the sand, and it’s an army medallion (dog tag).
It looks like silver, but it isn’t silver. The picture changes. I see my beloved in front of me. He’s in shorts and a T-shirt (a loose one), standing by his car.
His chest is exposed, it’s beautiful and I like it. I come close to him and see that very dog tag on a chain hanging around his neck. He looks straight into my eyes, silent.
The feeling is pleasant. I take this dog tag in my left hand and read the inscription on it: #3 road goat. Then I run into the house to put something on.
I put on a black bra, then a white T-shirt. I look in the mirror, I’m beautiful, but the black bra looks ugly with the white T-shirt. I go through other T-shirts. I settle on the red one.
The dream about the necklace came true: I had the dream last year, at the end of summer. Now everything has come true. In February of this year, I started thinking about how to arrange a meeting with my beloved.
We haven’t seen each other for a long time, and there’s no reason to. No communication either. But I wanted terribly to meet, even for a moment. I came up with a perfectly reasonable excuse for a meeting.
I called him myself. We agreed to meet, but the date wasn’t specified. It was about the near future. He was supposed to write to me. It seemed like we agreed on everything.
He promised to write, to meet and to help. In the end a week passed….. on the 13th day I did everything myself, without him. And the conversation was about the fact that I needed to pass on to his mother a gift for March 8th.
On March 13th I lost my temper and sent the gift by mail myself. At the same time, in my emotions, I said to him: jerk!
We had agreed, but he never wrote, he didn’t keep his word! I was angry. Now here’s how I see the fulfillment.
The role of the author of the book in the dream is how I myself was making up the script in life. The book was about relationships, about me. And so it turned out in life.
The found necklace with pearls and a chain. Not gold, expensive costume jewelry. This is how I understand the relationship with him.
The army dog tag that ended up on him with the inscription: #3 roadgoat. I told him that I would be in his area on the 3rd. In the end, in life it turned out that on the third, at three o’clock in the afternoon, I had an appointment not far from him. The young man himself lives on the Third Transport Ring. Well, and goat is how I ended up calling him, or how he behaved toward me.
In the end, the black bra that I put on – my feelings of longing, sadness. The white T-shirt – feelings of anxiety, the red T-shirt – aggression. That’s all exactly how it is in life. That’s how it all came true!
This dream shows how the necklace symbolizes relationships and commitments. The pearl necklace – expensive costume jewelry – a relationship that didn’t work out. The medallion with the inscription #3 road goat – a precise indication of the date and the person. The dream came true exactly.
The full interpretation of this symbol, with all its nuances and details, is available inour app. There, too, are hundreds of real dreams in which the necklace manifested in people’s lives.

About the Project
The project has been open to public access since 2012. We study dreams and their subsequent realization, and the connection between the conscious, the unconscious, and the subconscious. We learn to receive information in dreams and interpret it correctly.
We use knowledge about the patterns of reactions to information in dreams: to perceive warnings and use the hints received as a mental answer to pressing questions in everyday life. This concerns health, relationships, business, work, and important events.
The project has collected information from many participants about social events. We view it as possible projections of the future, that is, upcoming events that will affect many people.
The accumulated statistics over long periods and the ability to trace patterns of synchronization between events and dream information on the eve have made it possible to identify obvious and documented subsequent realizations of dreams about events of global scale. This confirms the possibility that people can perceive information about the future.
On our project:
-
the best dream interpreter, as recognized by users, based on analytics of fulfilled dreams;
-
an effective system of practices for lucid and informational dreams (answers to questions);
-
a system of rules for interpreting dreams based on analytics of fulfilled dreams;
-
the world’s largest database of prophetic dreams (fulfilled ones);
-
the Dream Diary Diary Dreams app, created according to the algorithms of the project’s founders using all of the project’s databases (the dream interpreter, the database of fulfilled dreams, calendars for dream practice, and much more).
The app’s algorithm provides the most complete access when searching for the information you need and assistance in dream practice, as well as in identifying individual abilities for developing your potential and the ability to receive information in dreams.
In the app, you can use interactive personal interpretation of your dreams, keep a dream journal and track their fulfillment, identifying personal symbols and patterns of real events and what you saw in a dream. You can download the Dream Journal app here.
Dreams and superpowers
If you have ever had a prophetic dream in your life, you have the ability to receive information in dreams. Most people block it, thereby reducing their ability to live and act more effectively. This mainly happens due to a lack of knowledge about the nature of dreams. Meanwhile, dreams are an ability of every person, given to them from birth. By birthright. It is unlikely that nature created and gave anything “by chance.”

And a braided necklace? I was having a good time in the company of young people, in a rocky area, on the shore of something, but not the sea, there was little visible water. I was talking and flirting with one young man, then I left them, there was also a small house on the shore. And when I was returning, along a path between the rocks, I ended up with a necklace in my hands, braided from threads, but beautiful, kind of ethnic, but with the color again there’s trouble. I don’t understand what color. I liked it and I put it on my neck and fastened the hook, but there was also a zipper clasp, I went up to that young man and told him to fasten it and he fastened it. The young man is half my age, and the necklace.. Isn’t this a yoke on my neck??
If the necklace is expensive, then the connection will be valuable to you; if it is cheap and simple, then it will indeed be a yoke.
