Dream interpretation: floor, floors in a dream. Interpretation of a dream.

Dream Interpreter: Floor and Washing Floors: What Floors Mean in Dreams

By the condition and appearance of a floor in a dream, one can determine what is happening in a home, family, company, organization (depending on where the floor is) at the present moment. That is, these are not dreams about the future. In most cases, this is information about what already exists at the time of such a dream.

In this article, I will explain what a floor means in a dream, what a dirty, clean, wet floor means, a hole in the floor, as well as washing floors in different places. At the end, I will give real dreams that came true and show how the symbol manifested in life.

If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project, a complete database of dreams that came true, and more than 7000 symbols with interpretations that are not available publicly.

What a Floor Means in a Dream: The Main Symbol

By the condition and appearance of a floor in a dream, one can determine what is happening in a home, family, company, organization (depending on where the floor is) at the present moment. That is, these are not dreams about the future. In most cases, this is information about what already exists at the time of such a dream.

A dirty floor in a home means discord in the family: lack of coordination, omissions, confusion, and problems. Depending, of course, on what kind of dirt it is and in which rooms.

A clean floor in a dream means well-being and health in the family.

Painting a floor in a dream means changes. If the color is beautiful and you liked the painting, then the changes will be for the better. And vice versa.

Water on the Floor in a Dream

Water on the floor is dreamed of in connection with troubles and worries – these are emotions that have gotten out of control. To make the meaning of this symbol in dreams clearer: water is the emotional background, and the floor is the stability of a situation, fundamental foundations.

If you combine these two symbols, it turns out that in your dream you saw worries because of instability in some situation, relationship, or circumstance.

But even in such a dream, it is good if the water was clean, even if cold. This means that your anxieties will pass, and their cause will too. Figuratively – everything will “cleanse itself.”

Collecting water from the floor means the resolution of a conflict, the elimination of troubles.

Sleeping, Lying, Sitting on the Floor

Sleeping on the floor, lying on the floor means that you have overlooked something important concerning your family. Often, among dreams that came true about lying and sleeping on the floor, there is information about being “belittled” in something.

Sitting on the floor means troubles and worries because of them.

Lying face down of your own free will literally means a desire to be alone, to withdraw into yourself.

Seeing that you fell and remained lying means an unexpected blow that will deprive you of strength for a long time and knock you out of your usual rhythm.

If in a dream you see a person fall to the floor and be unable to get up – the dream may mean a blow for the one who fell. That is, something will happen that will “lay the person low” and they will not recover. At least in the near future.

Hole, Collapse, Dust, Carpet on the Floor

If in a dream the floor collapsed – it means misfortune, negative events that will entail many problems.

A hole in the floor means losses and failures. It is often connected with loss of finances.

Dust on the floor may indicate neglected matters.

A carpet on the floor, if it is beautiful, means great prosperity in the family.

Wooden Floor, Laying Floors

Seeing a wooden floor in a dream – if it is made of expensive types of wood, shines, and is clean – it means the well-being of the family. If it is plain, unattractive, and ugly – it means poverty. A rotten floor means misfortunes and illnesses for one of the household members.

Laying floors in a dream means a desire to receive “support.” But such a dream will occur only if you are desperately in need of this support (because “your own ground was knocked out from under your feet”). The reasons are usually visible in the plot of the dream.

If you simply saw new floors – it means big changes. The more beautiful they are, the better the changes.

Washing Floors in a Dream

Washing floors in a dream means getting rid of disorder in relationships, problems in the family, and negative emotions. It matters where the floors were washed; if at home, this dream concerns the family. If at work, it concerns the team or some other work relationships, but it is necessarily relationships with people.

In fact, any cleaning in a home (premises) does not mean that the dream is bad, as older generations have taught us to think. Such dreams really confirm that there are problems in the room being cleaned, for example, between people who neighbor, live, or work in that room.

That is precisely why, subconsciously, the building is being cleaned, purified. But this does not mean that the consequences of what was seen in the dream speak of impending troubles; rather, it means that there will be a “cleansing” and getting rid of dirt and trash.

Развить свои сверхспособности

Wiping the floor in a dream, washing floors – the end of troubles, everything will soon improve, if, of course, in the dream you managed to wipe the floor and it became clean.

Sweeping the floor with a broom means quarrels or scandals in the house. But if you managed to sweep everything clean, then the quarrels will end.

Where you wash floors: home, stairwell, school, work

Washing floors in an apartment – improving relationships with family, getting rid of household and family problems. It is very good if you manage to wash everything clean.

Washing floors in a stairwell – changing your place of residence, moving. Soon you will be able to improve your living conditions if the cleaning was successful.

Washing floors at school – leaving your school, or changing it. At the same time as these events, this also indicates success in studies, achievements in the professional sphere.

Washing floors at work – you will change your place of work. However, if this is your place of work, for example an office, then keep in mind that they want to get rid of you.

Often dreams in which a person washes floors mean that he will “wash away” from the place where he washed them. But one must distinguish dreams in which the goal is to wash away dirt from dreams in which they “wash everything away” or “cover their tracks”.

Washing away dirt means eliminating troubles or disagreements.

Who washes floors: mom, grandmother, deceased person

If you see in your dream that mom is washing the floor, the dream means that she is very upset about something. There is a misunderstanding between you. And you need to meet her halfway on your part, because she is trying to smooth over the conflict and settle the relationship.

If in a dream you see a grandmother washing floors, then such a dream means your actions and a wise decision, thanks to which you will be able to get out of a tangled matter or escape from problems.

A deceased person washing floors in the house in a dream – foretells the death or serious illness of one of the household members.

Washing floors by hand, with clean or dirty water

If in a dream the floors were washed by hand, then in life this will mean a situation where you will be able to fix something by taking the situation into your own hands and will achieve success in this.

Washing floors with clean water – such a dream means only good things. It may indicate both income and a meeting with long-awaited people. Changes for the better.

If the water was dirty, then such a dream may indicate negative emotions, disappointment in people, relationships and possibly illness due to stress.

If you washed the floor with a mop, then in reality some person will make an offer, thanks to which changes will occur. If the cleaning took place and everything was cleaned, then the offer will be profitable. But if dirt remains after cleaning, then after the changes the troubles will not go away.

Washing a wooden floor with a dirty rag – foretells poverty. However, if the wooden floor in the house is beautiful and solid, clean after cleaning in the dream, the dream means that in this house relationships are built on feelings.

If in your dream you saw washed floors in the house and they are clean, such a dream is a favorable symbol. And it means further well-being in family life, good health.

Very often washed floors and a beautiful floor is a symbol of an upcoming marriage for unmarried women.

Washing the floor in a church – repentance for sins. Washing floors in a church, in a monastery, temple means that soon a period of your life will come when you will have to repent for a long time in solitude and prayers.

If you see a stranger who is washing the floor, the dream means that your intentions may come true with outside help.

If floors were washed in someone else’s house, then you will soon have to provide someone with help and support.

If you washed floors in your parents’ apartment, then keep in mind that your relatives need you.

If in a hospital, or some medical institution, then you will have to take care of your health.

Floors washed in the kitchen mean that relationships in your family will improve and become stronger. If such a dream is dreamed by lovers, then soon they will have a new family.

If a pregnant woman saw in a dream that she is washing floors, she should soon give birth.

Washing floors and falling means that soon a person will face betrayal from a loved one.

It is bad if in a dream you spilled water, or someone spilled it on the floor. This dream means a conflict in that place and with those people who were in the dream.

A dream about floors that came true: new floors and coronavirus

This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected inour app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses.

A participant’s story:

The dream was had for the affirmation “Prophetic dream about the future” on 12/31/2019. My husband and I came to visit my husband’s brother Misha. Everything in their house is the same as in real life.

A door leads from the living room into the garage, my husband went there with his brother. I stayed in the living room alone. They said that a package had arrived for Misha at the post office and it needed to be picked up.

My husband volunteered to go get it. I went out of the living room into the garage, decided to see what Misha and his wife were doing. I come out, I see the garage is empty, the car is gone. The garage gates are wide open. I walked up to the threshold, but did not step over it, I stayed inside the garage. I see that the garden has been harvested, the ground is black and empty. It is already cold, but there is no snow.

Misha and his wife are laying a floor of boards right on the ground. Misha’s wife is trying especially hard, fussing. He himself is somehow passive. I think, what are they doing? Why are they laying floors on the ground? They are expecting guests for a birthday, putting things in order.

The dream about the floors came true like this: There are many symbols of time here. The garden has been harvested, the ground is bare, they are expecting guests for a birthday. Both of them have birthdays at the end of October; at that time the garden has already been harvested. It is cold, but there is no snow, and the weather in our area is the same at the end of October.

And the fact that they are expecting guests is already a personal symbol. They always expected many guests for a birthday and were always repairing, renewing, and changing something.

Here the symbol is new floors. But the floors were simple freshly planed boards. According to the dream book, laying floors means illness, if you see the process itself.

It was coronavirus…

I did not go out to them, I stayed at the threshold watching. The brother called my husband and said that they had all come down with coronavirus.

The brother’s wife had the hardest time; she was in the hospital for a month with bilateral pneumonia. In the dream she tried very hard laying the floors.

And she has already been on sick leave for two months, even though she was discharged home. There was no car in the garage in the dream. In real life they bought a new car at the beginning of the year, an expensive SUV.

Their well-being in life ended. The symbol of the harvested garden speaks of the same thing.

This dream shows how new floors symbolize changes. Laying floors means illness. The garden harvested means the end of well-being. The dream came true during the coronavirus.

The full interpretation of this symbol, with all the nuances and details, is available inour app. There, too, are hundreds of real dreams in which floors manifested in people’s lives.

A dream that came true about mopping floors at work

A participant’s story:

Without an affirmation, the dream was for March 8: in the office I decorated the wall, it was pink. Then I look, nothing is hanging among the decorations. The owner of the office did not want it and the walls became white.

I understand that she does not want me to do anything in her office, for example to take charge. I walk around without anything to do, because the English teacher does not want to share hours with me.

I tell the headmistress about this and she talks with her. I do not listen to their conversation, but simply try to occupy myself by looking at some books.

Then I find myself at the threshold of a large hall, also at the school, there is a carpet lying on the floor. In the middle of the carpet sits the headmistress, and in front of her stands a green cup with clean water.

She gives it to me and I, having gone somewhere and washed my feet, poured water for her again and gave the cup back.

Some guy who was in the room with her simply called me: – hey, sister. And the headmistress said to him: – How is she your sister? Then he said in Turkish” – “arkadashim or kardeshim”… I do not remember exactly (translation arkadashim – friend, kardeshim – little sister).

Then I ended up in a wide school corridor. I watched as that English teacher washed the wooden solid floors with a mop, washed very cleanly, wiped them dry, I liked it.

She had already washed the floor of the corridor, and I wanted to help her. But I stood watching and changed my mind, decided not to interfere in her business.

The dream’s realization: the dream came true today, on March 11. On the topic of the office (previously in reality there had been no conversation about this topic)…

And today the teacher asked me to give her the office. It had been her office for a long time, and I had come recently, so I, of course, gave it up. I moved to another one.

On the topic of English (in reality, am I choosing where to work? Stay here or move to another school).

Today I received an offer from the headmistress that I would be given all the English language hours. She says the fellow teacher wants to quit, he found another thing, a translator.

Right after that conversation, that teacher comes “whose classroom I gave back.” She is also the vice-principal, she said that this fellow teacher will not be working. I am currently in a bit of shock.

Just like in the dream book, washing floors was for a teacher’s dismissal.

This dream shows how washing floors symbolizes a person’s departure from a place. The teacher washed the floors – she is leaving. The classroom was given away – a place became free. The dream came true on March 11.

The full interpretation of this symbol, with all the nuances and details, is available in our application. There too – hundreds of real dreams where floors manifested in people’s lives.

About the project

The project has been open for public access since 2012. We study dreams and their subsequent realization, the connection between the conscious, the unconscious and the subconscious. We learn to receive information in dreams and interpret it correctly.

We use knowledge about the patterns of reactions to information in dreams: to perceive warnings and use the clues received as a mental answer to pressing questions in everyday life. This concerns health, relationships, business, work and important events.

The project has collected information from many participants about social events. We consider it as possible projections of the future, that is, upcoming events that will affect many people.

The accumulated statistics over long periods and the ability to trace patterns of synchronization of events and dream information on the eve have made it possible to identify obvious and recorded subsequent realizations of dreams about events on a global scale. This confirms the possibility of people perceiving information about the future.

On our project:

• the dream book best recognized by users, based on the analysis of dreams that came true;

• an effective system of practices for lucid and informational dreams (answers to questions);

• a system of rules for interpreting dreams based on the analysis of dreams that came true;

• the world’s largest database of prophetic dreams (those that came true);

• the Dream Diary Diary Dreams app, created according to the algorithms of the project’s founders using all the project’s databases (the dream book, the database of dreams that came true, calendars for dream practice and much more).

The app’s algorithm provides the most complete access when searching for the information you need and assistance in dream practice, as well as in identifying individual abilities for developing your potential and the ability to receive information in dreams.

In the app, you can use interactive individual interpretation of your dreams, keep a dream diary and track their realization, identifying personal symbols and patterns of real events and what you saw in a dream. You can download the Dream Diary app here.

Dreams and superpowers

If you have ever seen a prophetic dream in your life, you have the ability to receive information in dreams. Most people block it, thereby reducing their ability to live and act more effectively. This mainly happens due to a lack of knowledge about the nature of dreams. Meanwhile, dreams are an ability of every person, given from birth. By right of birth. It is unlikely that nature created and gave anything “by chance”.
