What vampires and zombies dream of: dream interpretation and fulfilled stories

Vampires and zombies in a dream almost always point to a loss of energy. These are symbols of something or someone draining you. Work, relationships, responsibilities, other people’s desires. You feel that your life force is leaving, and there is no satisfaction.

In this article, I will explain what zombies, vampires, ghouls dream of, as well as what the fear of being bitten means and how this symbol is connected to real life. At the end, I will give a real fulfilled dream and show how the symbol manifested in life.

If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. There you will find thousands of real examples from our project, a complete database of fulfilled dreams and more than 7000 symbols with interpretations that are not available in the public domain.

What a zombie means in a dream: the main symbol

There are two main interpretations of this symbol. First. If you dream that a zombie is chasing you, in reality you may feel that you have started doing something senselessly – mechanically. Such actions usually concern some activity in life or work. This turns you into a “zombie,” you stop thinking consciously. Everything on your part happens on autopilot.

You stop feeling satisfaction, lose the meaning in what you are doing, and increasingly catch yourself thinking that you are wasting energy. Or rather, it seems to leave you. Your life force is being spent in vain, and so is your time.

You are not living by your true goals; you simply do not have enough time and strength for that. What matters most to you fades into the background and remains aside.

This happens especially often when you are subject to some alien will, that is, you do something at the wish or command of other people. These could be bosses at work, or your own relatives, for example, parents or spouses. Sometimes — children.

The movements of zombies in a dream symbolically reflect your own sensations of “movement” and the efforts you make to do an imposed job or task.

Second option. When you understand that the zombies are certain other characters. That is, they act on someone else’s command. They do something automatically, and there is a feeling that they are devoid of empathy and compassion. Inhuman in their actions against other people.

The fear of being captured by zombies and the fear of their attack are duplicated emotional fears of the real fear that the situation you have found yourself in will not let you go. And you will never be able to realize your dream and your goals.

What a vampire means in a dream

Vampires in such dream plots are a special aspect of the subconscious, and indicate a complete draining of energy. Your work or your occupation, and sometimes it may be a specific person from your circle, sucks, drinks, or takes all the vital energy out of you.

Vampires of the opposite sex to the dreamer indicate love relationships that have likewise “dried” you out over the period of communication with the object of your dreams. This means that your chosen one or chosen woman “drinks your blood.” This is an allegory, but I think it is clear to everyone.

If family members are present in a dream about vampires, the dream may indicate that fulfilling duties in the family leaves you no time for your own life, for achieving your goals and desires.

When vampires appear in a dream, it often indicates the presence of people in your life who may be energy vampires — that is, they live at your expense, have already taken advantage of this, or are planning to. Such a dream may foretell a meeting with such a person.

If you managed to defeat the vampire in a dream — that is a good sign. It means that you are capable of avoiding the threat.

A dream about being bitten by a vampire may symbolize financial losses. For those who are ill — such a dream may be an omen of worsening health or even the approach of the end.

In any case, a dream about vampires does not foretell anything good! Be vigilant about your surroundings and “change the projection of the future” if you have a lucid dreaming practice.

A dream that came true about fear of ghouls

This is just one example out of thousands. The world’s largest database of dreams that came true is collected in our app. There you will find stories that will confirm or refute your guesses.

A participant’s story:

On 05/13/18 I had a dream. I’m walking down a deserted street. It’s night, and I’m afraid that some thugs might come up to me, or that some ghouls might crawl out. I went into some house and there was a grandmother sitting on the bed, saying something to me. As I listen to her, I look out the window and see police officers. I’m afraid they’ll detain me. They enter the same house, followed by more people. The police officers didn’t recognize me, said something to me, and I woke up.

On 05/14/18 in the evening I left work and walked down the street to my car. There were only about 2 people around. But the car wasn’t there—it had been towed. I called an acquaintance. She drove me to the impound lot. I went into the building, a woman (an impound lot employee) was sitting on a chair. She found my fine and sent me to the traffic cop. I went up to them, stood in line, other people came up. The traffic cop wrote out a citation and I picked up my car. That’s how quickly and simply my dream came true.

This dream shows how the fear of ghouls reflects the real fear of an unexpected situation. The car was towed, and I had to go to the impound lot. The fear turned out to be futile; everything was resolved quickly.

What to do if you dream about vampires or zombies

Remember your dreams! You have your own goal in life, your own path, and finally, your own life! And no one has the right to deprive you of it! You don’t belong to anyone so much as to be a slave to others’ desires, orders, or ideas.

The peculiarity of such a dream symbol as a zombie or a vampire is that everyone is afraid of becoming the same “after their bite.” This means that we have a subconscious terror. Of the fact that, as a result of everything that is currently happening in our lives, we could become exactly like them. Will-less people, lacking self-awareness and their own desires, goals, or ideas. Carrying out other people’s orders or wishes and having none of their own.

If you dreamed of vampires or zombies, pay attention to your sensations. Were you a victim or an observer? Did you win or lose?

1. Write down the dream immediately, while you remember the details.

2. Note who the vampires or zombies were: acquaintances, strangers, relatives.

3. Recall what you felt: fear, disgust, the desire to run away.

4. Think about who or what drains your energy in reality.

5. Check the symbol in the dream dictionary to see the full picture.

Dreams about vampires and zombies come true quickly. Usually within a few days or weeks. Therefore, it is important not to forget the dream and to compare it with reality.
