Dream Book Lizard: Why a Lizard Is Dreamt Of

A lizard in a dream is a characteristic of a person. Either of their character, or of their reaction in certain circumstances.

A lizard in a dream symbolizes danger that comes from a certain person, or the feelings of danger that the dreamer experiences under the negative influence of some external factors.

If you want to check your symbols, go to the dream interpretation app. It contains thousands of real examples from our project, a complete database of dreams that came true, and more than 7,000 symbols with interpretations that are not publicly available.

What a Lizard Means in a Dream

The healthier, stronger, and more agile the lizard, the stronger the feeling of fear, panic, and anxiety in real life.

Sometimes such a symbol points to a person who is the cause of your fears. The indication of who the danger comes from, or whether it manifests because of events in a person’s life, is determined by the area of perception in the dream. This is the place that was seen in the dream and where exactly the lizard was.

If everything was in your home, then your anxious state is connected to events concerning the home and family. By analogy, any other rooms and places as well.

Of course, it is good if in such a dream you killed or drove away the lizard. In that case, you will also be able in life to cope with anxiety and take your emotions, and therefore your consciousness, under control.

In that case, there will be fewer mistakes and more chances to cope with the circumstances that have arisen.

A Dream That Came True: A Lizard in the Pantry

I had the dream a week before the supermoon. I opened a storeroom in my house (in reality there is no storeroom).

And light illuminated the storeroom space. Bright clean walls, ceiling, floor. It was empty. Only on the floor lay wooden boards that had been broken earlier. Unnatural.

And from under the boards crawled a large yellow-brown lizard with a long tail. And it moved straight toward me. In the dream I felt panic terror. And I screamed like never before. Especially the tail was memorable, long, thick, writhing.

Manifestation. On the second day of the supermoon, such panic came over me. Terrible. Like that lizard from the dream. I experienced truly negative emotions, torn out of my storeroom.

But then how easy it was to get rid of it, to cleanse myself, as if I were born again. The yellow color of the lizard in the dream is connected with the psyche. In the dream, the yellow-brown color symbolized very heavy emotions.

The storeroom manifested itself in such an interesting way as a symbol. That which had been hidden for a long time, suppressed. The lizard’s long tail is precisely such a long trail of emotional and psychological negativity. Well, most important of all is the illumination of the storeroom, the clear calm light – in reality, full awareness of such a state.

An interesting interpretation of a storeroom in one’s own house – that which is hidden deep in the subconscious, secret and shown to no one. On the one hand, after the interpretation everything is logical, but when you begin to decipher the dream, there is no end to what you can come up with.

By the way, the symbol of the lizard in your dream is similar in interpretation to a snake. In the dream book: “To kill a snake – to cope with fears, to annul their destructive effect in yourself on all levels, to take negative emotions under control.” There is a resemblance to the lizard.

A dream that came true: a lizard with a twisted leg

I am in my kitchen looking at my flower in a pot. The kitchen and the flower are real. I see that my spathiphyllum (women’s happiness) looks drooping. I take water, start watering, look into the pot – the soil at the bottom of the pot has turned into dry stones, and the roots – a powerful root system, like a tree’s – are hanging in the air.

After the water hit the soil, the roots came to life, attached themselves to the soil and began to absorb the moisture. At that moment a lizard jumped out of the pot.

From the surprise I recoiled, and the flower came to life, put out new shoots, straightened up, turned green. I watch the lizard, which was dashing around the apartment, having grown in size to a rather large monitor lizard.

I call my daughter, point out to her the reptile, whose back right leg was unnaturally twisted backward, and in which a crumpled plastic bag was clamped. The lizard dashed around the room and disappeared somewhere.

Fulfillment. A few days later, M and I had a stormy confrontation, which lately had represented dehydrated soil. (Stones – difficulties and obstacles). Apparently, during the discussion I gave the necessary emotions, to which the roots attached themselves, but at the same time, the lizard was disturbed, and it had to urgently leave its refuge.

The lizard disappeared – emotions and consciousness are taken under control. An interesting moment with the twisted little paw. After two days of mutual ignoring, M backtracked – sent an SMS to probe my mood. The back right paw – an old tried-and-true trick. The paw is twisted – an attempt to wriggle out.

The plastic bag is empty – a disposable container – one attempt to start a dialogue (to fill the bag).

A dream come true: a lizard and pickled cucumbers

In the dream I bought a jar of pickled cucumbers. In the same store I met a man who had courted me. But nothing came of it, and only an unpleasant aftertaste remained from his dishonest attitude toward me.

He was with 2 children in strollers, born already in a new marriage. I opened the jar right in the store and examine the contents: there was half cloudy brine, the greens had become like seaweed.

I pull it out and think that the product is no longer fresh, and I wasn’t mistaken. A large lizard, about 15-20 cm, crawls out of the jar, healthy-looking, shiny, quite friendly.

It sits on me just below the shoulder. A feeling of squeamishness arises in me. For some reason I can’t remove it myself and I ask a relative who came into the store to urgently throw this nasty thing off me.

Interpretation: pickled cucumbers in a jar – this is a former partner, communication with whom did not bring you much joy, but you have already written about that yourself. But the lizard is a direct indication that this person poses a danger to you. The fact that the lizard is friendly is a sign indicating that this man will hide his true attitude toward you under a mask of benevolence.

What to do if you dream of a lizard

If you dreamed of a lizard, write down the dream. Immediately after waking up, write down all the details before you forget them. Write down your feelings during the dream and after waking up.

Check the symbols in the app. Each symbol has its own meaning. Check all the details of your dream. Don’t search on the website, search in the app, where there are more than 7000 dream interpretation symbols, determined based on the analytics of thousands of dreams from the project that came true.

Pay attention to the area of perception in the dream – where exactly the lizard was. This will indicate the sphere of life that the danger concerns.

About the project

Our project is a research work about dreams that has already been going on for many years. During this time, the world’s largest database of dreams that came true has been collected. Thousands of participants share their stories, and on the basis of these stories we compose interpretations of symbols.

Unlike ordinary dream books, which take meanings from encyclopedias, our dream book is created on the analysis of real dreams that came true. Each symbol has been tested in practice. If different people had the same symbol coincide with the same events, it enters the database.

The app is a club of dreamers with private access. Everything is collected there: the full dream book database (more than 7000 symbols), the world’s largest database of dreams that came true, practices for inducing informational dreams, diaries, decoding algorithms.

We don’t guess and we don’t predict. We work with data. Symbols, patterns, correlations. Dreams show what is already happening or will happen. And it can be verified. Just as we do on the project.
