Prophetic Dreams Fish Rain. Magicum. ( report No. 15 – 42 )
-Listen, the boss himself is summoning you!
You should have seen my boss’s eyes. Probably at that moment at least eight to ten scenario variants of events got mixed up in his thoughts.
I’m getting promoted. I’m being put in my boss’s place. I’m being transferred to another department. I’ve distinguished myself in some way. I’ve messed up. I. I. I…
I started getting the jitters myself. Who am I and who is the boss? And anyway, does he even know I exist?
Or maybe it’s some kind of mistake. Someone got something mixed up.
All these thoughts kept running in circles in different variations through my head until I found myself in the reception area.
Alla Iosifovna – the boss’s personal secretary, looked at me from under her glasses. Trim, businesslike and very neat, she made an impression. Looking at her, you immediately formed the idea that the boss was a businesslike man. We all knew that anyway. He’s a legendary figure, not just a cool businessman.
-Please take a seat, – Alla Iosifovna said in a calm, confident tone.
I sat down. A couple of minutes later I “caught” myself nervously tapping my fingers. I raised my eyes to Alla Iosifovna; at that moment she looked at me.
Prophetic Dreams Fish Rain
A short signal sounded.
-Go in. They’re waiting for you.
I went in. The boss’s office made no less of an impression than what I had heard about it. Looking around was not very comfortable.
The boss is about fifty-five. Sturdy, tall, entirely gray-haired. He stood up to meet me:
-Hello, Artem Viktorovich! Uh-uh-uh. Here’s the thing… Well, in short…My assistants reported to me that you have a practice of interpreting dreams. I need your consultation. I understand it’s unexpected to hear this from me…but the whole thing is that there were several occasions in my life when my dreams simply saved me. And, remembering that, I simply cannot neglect…Do you understand?
-Yes, of course. If anyone is surprised by what you said, it won’t be me.
The boss laughed.
-That’s why I came to you. I told my wife too, but… it’s all somehow complicated… Where should I start?
-First, the dream.
-Okay. And why?
-So as not to bend it to fit the facts. First impression. And then, if need be, we’ll look into the details.
-Agreed.
The boss took a deep breath, leaned forward, and placed his hands in front of him:
– I’m at home, and I know for sure that it’s raining outside. I call my wife and together we go out onto the area in front of our house. The sun is shining, the weather is nice, and at the same time fish is falling from the sky in a downpour. We grab buckets, hold them under this rain, and they fill to the brim with fish as if with water. A phantasmagoria, you know. And this went on for so long in the dream that when I woke up, there was a clear feeling that I had gotten completely soaked under this fish rain. But I was gasping with delight…
Prophetic Dreams Fish Rain
I looked at the boss in surprise:
-Good dream. Sorry, of course, but knowing and understanding that you are not a poor man, I can say for sure that you will increase your material wealth in arithmetic progression…
He started smiling.
-My wife told me approximately the same thing. It means money, profit… But the whole thing is that in our current activity no breakthroughs are expected, I know my business. And as for new ones, there’s only one single project, and on Wednesday at a meeting at the mayor’s office, I’m going to refuse it.
-Why, if it’s not a secret?
-Because I understand with my mind that we can’t handle it. It’s too grand. It’s not our scale. Even if we bring in subcontractors, we won’t manage. Almost seventy percent of the work is licensed, it can’t be offloaded to other contractors.
And such licenses in our region are currently only held by us. And, I think, for the next year and a half to two years, no one else has a shot at them. Also. I already have information now that the entire project is being financed only at sixty to sixty-five percent, the rest will be made up by recovery for sanctions, and they’ll “catch” you on everything. Contracts with general contractors will be drawn up on such harsh terms that you can’t move left or right. And that’s impossible.
Hence my dilemma. I would easily refuse this project, but… I’ve already said, despite the fact that I rarely see dreams, in my life there have been a couple of pivotal moments that predetermined events that changed my life at the root. And I made, as it might have seemed from the outside, absurd and ambitious decisions back then. After… a dream came. A prophetic dream. And nothing could stop me in my decision to act anymore. I knew for certain…believed…I don’t know in whom: the subconscious or a Guardian Angel or some Higher Power…
It seemed the boss had completely withdrawn into himself and was talking to someone invisible, but present in the room. And he wasn’t talking to me, but to that Someone. And it didn’t even matter to him what the dream was about. What mattered was that he had come into contact with this magical mystical force…
-Yes, I believe in them…now, when I’m this old, and I’ve endured so much in my life…I believe, you understand…
To myself, I thought that, of course, I understand. I believe in THAT every day. And I broke the lingering pause:
-In your dream there’s only one negative factor. Rain. That’s tension. But there are no bad events.
-And can anything else be said from my dream? Details? Maybe it only concerns my family, but not work.
-No. Only work. Possibly some other work. But work. Fish is a fisherman’s catch, not an inheritance or a found treasure. It’s earned money. Of course, such a dream is the overall picture of the result. And if you need details, I suggest “watching” another dream, but forming the dream’s setup specifically: only about your project. You need an answer: if you take it on, how should you act to get a good result. So that your fish rain comes. If the project is doomed, and it’s not worth getting involved with, you’ll immediately see a “sign of the end.”
-And if I don’t see a dream by Wednesday?
-You will.
-But I rarely see dreams.
-I’ll guide you.
The boss looked at me strangely. He probably didn’t believe it. If only he knew whom I had guided…But a day later, I was sitting in his office just the same, and he, with a sparkle in his eyes, was again telling me his dream:
-A sea bay. I see everything from the shore. There are many seagoing vessels in the bay. They’re being shelled from the shore. I don’t feel the horror of this bombardment. It’s just that someone is shooting, and someone is going to the bottom. Many ships are burning and sinking. An unfamiliar man comes up to me and puts a key in my hand. And also a photo of a shelled ship, so that I don’t forget about the sunken vessels. In parallel with this, I know that this man placed an order with us, and paid not with money, but with an office on Manhattan.
The key he gave me was from a door. In the dream, I know where this door is and I go to it. It’s an administrative building. The door is on the back side. There are many doors there too, but I know exactly where I need to go. I find mine, open it, it leads down, into a basement. Solid staircases and corridors: up, down. The most important thing is that I kept following a group of people the whole time; as soon as I fell behind, I would end up at dead ends, return to the group, and we would again walk together in the right direction.
So.
All military actions are, as the boss said, harsh terms of contracts and sanctions;
War – conflicts. Both “internal” and “external”;
The guy who gave the boss the key – as it later turned out, a high-ranking official, and he helped him bypass “all the pitfalls,” so to speak;
In any case, for the boss it’s help, through which one can achieve what one wants, get results;
The photo of the sunken ship – a reminder that the risk associated with violating any rules is fraught with consequences;
To follow the group in the administrative building – to be among a group of people from the administration;
The fact that the boss watched from the sidelines throughout the entire war and did not experience the horror of the bombing suggests that it would not concern him, and it would be possible to make it through to the end without losses;
The door at the rear side – a “hidden” entrance. The boss had connections that he did not publicly display, but throughout the entire work at the site – he maintained them;
On a rainy April morning I was walking from the metro station to the office. There were twenty minutes left before the start of the workday. I’ll still make it. A company Mercedes pulled up next to me and the boss stepped out:
– Hi, contactor! How’s it going?
-Thanks, all good!
-Got the check?
-Yes, thanks!
-I thought you’d go somewhere or start your own business.
-No, I’m still with you for now. It’s not my time yet.
-Sure?
-Yes, I had a dream.
The boss laughed:
-Then, all right. See you! Need a ride?
-No. I’ll walk. I like the rain now, too.
